I have been going to the Chinese for over five years and never had a bad meal.
The staff are very friendly and food is excellent.
The two courses for £10 is excellent value for money. Two starters and a main for a tenner (cant grumble at that)
The food is cooked fresh and drinks well priced.
Ignore the negative comments this place is a gem.

Starter and main went without a hitch, nice food, nothing special, but well presented. The restaurant was busy with no spare tables and that was the Rainbows undoing. The manager and I presume the owner was taking takeaway orders over the phone and the main waiter doing the delivery side. We asked for the sweet menu and were looking forward to liqueur coffees but despite having enough staff they were young and directionless. We waited and waited but no menu so we asked for the bill and waited................and waited until we decided enough was enough and went up to the till and demanded the bill. The manager totted up our tab in-between taking further orders for takeaways. My debit card was finally inserted into the machine that connected via the main takeaway line, yes you can guess, we waited............and waited. The owner offered to pay for the first round of drinks next time because of our problems but I think I will take my hundred pounds to the Ruby next time! Rainbow its time to get a second phone line, use a junior to handle the takeaway calls, hire a taxi driver instead of a waiter for the delivery and the manager attend your valuable clientele.

This restraunt does have a typical Chinese menu, the extra touch is that the food has a fresh taste and is well presented. A group of four of us went on a Saturday night (we had to book) and although virtually full, the service was excellent. The staff are friendly and efficient, drinks arrived straight away. The atmosphere was noisy but added to the ambience which is lovely. The starters were tasty, hot and very freshly cooked, as where the main courses. The staff were attentive and we never had to call a waitress over to get drinks replenished they were always watching, very well trained. We all had a super evening.

Went for the early bird menu (last sitting 8pm). Although not a huge menu, good value at £10 for 2 starters, main course with rice (noodles are £1.50 extra, king prawns £2 extra) and icecream or coffee plus complimentary Orange slices and fortune cookies to finish. Would recommend giving it a try!

This restuarant is the best keep secret in the West Midlands. The food is absoltely fab and is cooked fresh every evening. They have the most mouth watering dishes to suit all tastes, some mild and some really hot. Nothing is to much trouble, the staff are lovely, polite and helpful and your meal is never rushed. Can be a lillte nosiy in the main room ask for one at the back. Drinks very reasonable price to. If you sit downbefore 8pm in the week they do a cheap deal - excellent valve for money.
