Tiffins is one of our local Indian restaurants - Lye is quite well known locally for having so many Indian restaurants in a small High Street area. We have visited quite a few times over the last few years as it is one of our favourites, and the food is always delicious and well presented, and the staff are always very friendly, attentive and polite. It is unlicensed so you can take your own drinks. The tables and tableware are always spotless, and not so close together that you feel cramped. The service can sometimes seem a little slow, but the food is always lovely when it comes; and anyway I'd rather enjoy a relaxed meal than feel like I was being rushed. We've had a couple of parties here, and everybody's food came correctly and at roughly the same time. There is a room upstairs which is nice if there is a large-ish group of you (I think it seats about 16-20 people).
In all the years we have been going, we have never had a bad meal here. We have recommended it to several friends who now go regularly, so they must be doing something right!
