We have just returned from a week at Skipsea Sands Holiday park (2 Adults and 3 kids ages 5, 4 and 2) we had a great time. The welcome was friendly and informative. We brought our tourer (our first long distance trip with it) the pitches were well marked out and seperated nicely with hedges so you did feel it was your own little space and safe. There were 2 toilet/shower/dishwasher units which was very good for the size of the tourer section. They were cleaned regularly and actually had soap in the dispensers which was great. There is a great pond with very friendly ducks although the number of rabbits did seem a little out of control but they kept the kids entertained. The pool was a very good size (make sure you check opening times as it does close for lunch) there was real ten pin bowling at a very reasonable price, amusements galore and a very good sized indoor soft play area which is good when weather poor (we had sun all week) The on site shop was well stocked and fairly priced. The kids clubs were good fun and the kids evening entertainment was great fun too, we did not stay for the adult cabaret as kids were always exhausted. Nearby Bridlington is a fantastic place (saves you travelling to Scarborough) it has a 24 hour Tesco, but the main thing was the amount of fairground rides, sea side shops, ice cream parlours, restaurants, cafe's, bars etc the beach was lovely and well manned by life guards. The kids loved the ride on the donkeys (took me back to my youth) really lovely place. Also Cruckley Farm is also worth a visit, very good price for the number of animals you see and can interact with. Good on both dry and wet days (wellies can be borrowed from the farm if you forget your own. Overall Skipsea sands was a lovely resort, it could be better signposted.

Just come back from a short break at Skipsea Sands, my partner and I really enjoyed it, the park was lovely and we loved all the wildlife etc, the caravan was lovely and clean and very spacious, we were really impressed with the complimentary tea and coffee etc, the customer service was brilliant never stayed anywhere where staff visit you to see if everything is ok, will definately visit again, fair walk to the beach, such a shame about the cliff erosion however we were on holiday to do a fair bit of walking.

On arrival the staff in the reception were vey helpful and polite. The Caravan was exceptionally clean. The Club house entertainment for the kids was good however you need a wheel barrow full of cash for the price of the beer / drinks. The swimming pool staff however needs a training course in Customer facing skills. Be vey weary of the lockers in the changing area as it can it can be costly. Its £1.00 every time you close /open the door. The Staff in the Bar / shops where very friendly... We would go again

Myself, the wife and the dog have just come back from a holiday in Skipsea. Right from the
start the Staff were helpful.
When we reached the caravan, it was a three bedroom Bronze caravan. Upon entering it was very clean and there were, tea bags, coffee and milk so you could have a cuppa straight away. There was also a flat screen television with freeview programmes.
With having a dog it was nice to find a dog walk, with grass and tree lined with several bins
for the waste.
The only down side was the beach which was fenced off due tp cliff erosion but if you got
in your car and drove towards Bridlington for about two miles called in at Ulrome the beach as great, long and deserted great for the dog to run about and have a splash in the
sea. There was always ice cream after.
We enjoyed it so much, we tried to book an extra night but the caravan was already booked.
Take no notice of the people who moan about this site, they need to get a life. Some folk
want 5 star luxury for a 3 star price.
Would definitely go again
