“quality bed and breakfast”
Reviewed May 15, 2013

Our room was spacious and very comfortable. Lovely extras, sweets, bottled water and a selection of teas and hot drinks and biscuits all supplied.
The owners are so friendly and helpful, we took our dogs and Chrysta was only too helpful letting us know where we could walk them in the village and walk in nearby fields and even supplied a bin to dispose of any dog waste, which I am sure most dog owners will appreciate ,as it is not always easy to find dog bins.
Breakfast was wonderful ,excellent food and just the right amount of cheerful company.
Skipsea is quite a pretty old village and near to Bempton Cliffs which we had visited to see the puffins.
We would thoroughly recommend this b and b, the quality is better than most 4/5 star hotels.

Just back from our 3rd stay, another two booked for July and August. Another warm welcome from Chrysta and her family. As always a lovely spotless room, lovely surroundings, great breakfast, a comfy bed and peace and quiet, you can't ask for much more.... and it was warm and sunny. Pity we have to come home but wont be long until we are back. Thanks from Karen & Kevin

What a fantastic stay we had at Village Farm on a beautiful weekend in February.

Our room was wonderful, recently refurbished and beautifully done with lovely little extras like bottles of water and sweets. The shower was lovely very powerful and always had hot water.

Our dogs were made very welcome and loved the heated flooring in the rooms. An outside hose is available to keep your dogs clean and even an offer of towels incase you had forgotten to bring any to dry them.

The breakfast room was beautifully set out and the Breakfast was fantastic with several different choices and filled you up till nearly teatime.

Nothing was too much trouble for Chrysta and her family, we woke up on our first morning there to find a jack by our car ready to change our flat tyre we didn't realise we even had!! And print outs of close by garages provided.

The area is lovely for walking and we thoroughly enjoyed exploring the different beaches recommended to us.

We will definitely return to village Farm if we're in the area again and would highly recommend this lovely B&B to anyone.

Many thanks to Chyrsta and family for making our stay so pleasant and we all agreed the VERY large piece of chocolate brownie you sent us home with is the best we've ever tasted.

We stayed here at the village Farm a few weeks ago. I really cant recommend this enough. Somebody in a previous review has said "what a find" and we agree. We stayed in a lovely room, which had its own front door, the bedroom was really well decorated, bathroom was lovely and the hosts were fab. It was nice to feel so welcomed. We stayed for evening meal which was gorgeous!! - We were able to drive to the beach (approx 10 mins away) and waked for miles. we had a look around Bridlington harbour which was really nice. I didnt realise how lovely the East Coast was. I would, without a doubt recommend a visit to the Village Farm, its lovely owners really know how to look after you. Thanks for a great stay Chrysta and also for the lovely homemade cake you gave us when we left. We will definately return. :-)

We stayed here for the second time this year whilst visiting family in Hornsea. Once again we had a great welcome and everything was perfect. Chrysta and her family certainly go out of their way to make everyone feel welcome. Great breakfasts -we must try the dinner next time. We will be back soon.

Warm welcome on arrival, good food for dinner and breakfast, comfortable and clean room, although the bed was harder than I would like, but that's a personal thing. Everything really lovely - even sent us away with cake for the journey!

What a fantastic find! we first came across when we were sheltering from the great british summer and had lunch in the tea rooms. we were that impressed with the quality of food and service that as soon as a sunny weekend came we returned to sample the B&B and were not dissapointed! Chrysta was a great host and nothing was to much trouble. The room was spotless and the attention to the little things like having bottles of water in the room were great. The breakfast was fantastic and the chocolate cake we were given on departure was very tasty. Would not hesitate to recommend to family and friends.
