What a little gem this was, we only stayed 4 days and wish it could have been longer.
Received a lovely warm welcome from Heather. The annexe is in a beautiful quiet location, it was great to wake in the morning to hear nothing but birds singing and to be able to sit outside in the evening enjoying a glass or 2. The kitchen is tiny but has all that you need and there is a charming pub at the end of the lane (Queens Head ) serving delicious food...( gets very busy so i advise booking )
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and hope to return . Thank you Heather and Alan for making it possible for us to share your beautiful home.
Well what more can we say thank the title..we have stayed 3 times now and that says it all..Heather and Alan are more than hosts (we class them as friends now)..cosy and clean..peaceful, historic, bliss !
Heather is so relaxed and I love to chat to Alan when his busy days have ended ! FANTASTIC thanks to you both..see you soon
Lovely and peaceful.
Perfect for a relaxing break.
Clean, tidy and comfortable.
Great for walks with the dog.
Would highly recommend.
All necessary items there for a short stay. Friendly owners. Great local pub. Even our dog liked it. Good walks and scenery.
Not a lot I can add to the previous positive reviews. The annexe is a lovely place to stay, centrally located (in a peaceful and quiet location) for various days out and right on the 1066 trail. The owner Heather is keen to ensure everything is just right to make your stay a good one and it was.
I can confirm the pub down the lane serves good food and the staff and other customers were very friendly.
My wife, two shih tzu dogs and myself enjoyed our three night stay very much and would certainly return in the future.
Thanks to all at Parsonage Barn Annexe
First class accommodation set in idyllic surroundings. Heather and Alan are fantastic hosts. This is a perfect spot for some peace and quiet. We will definitely be back.
