Always good teas, good lunches. Try it and if the weather is good sit outside. In centre of town

A good old fashioned tea shop, which does good home-made/local food. Was very busy when we went and the 2 ladies serving had a hard time keeping up but this didn't adversely affect our visit at all.

We visited as two families on a cold June afternoom for refreshment. We found the cafe situated on the high street to be cosy, pleasant, simple and good value. We only had drinks (7 of us) and had no pressure to eat, though the menu was tempting.
Staff were friendly.

What a good value cream team. Two huge scones. 4 or 5 times too much jam and clotted cream. Good service. Relaxed environment. Delicious

This was our second visit to this 'local' restaurant/cafe. Situated on the main street, close to the sea front. Although a limited menu, it was well cooked, (home cooked), and very good value, served with a friendly smile. If you don't want a cooked lunch, tea and cake is also available.
Looking forward to visiting again.
