Owner description: Vall d'Or is an 18-hole golf course par 71, 5.538 Meters long from white tees. It combines two completely different landscapes in the first and second round. The front nine holes have rolling fairways surrounded by a forest of pine, almond and olive trees. The back nine holes have wider and more uneven fairways that go down towards the coast. The greens, protected by bunkers, welcome all approach shots. It is an average-difficulty golf course but quite entertaining, and with magnificent views of the Mediterranean Sea. Opened in 1999, the club house is located on top of a hill from where one can enjoy the spectacular views over the bay of Portocolom and Cala d'Or. The club house offers the following services and installations: Reception and club storage room, hire of buggies and trolleys, club hire, Pro- shop, ample changing rooms, availability of lockers, 2 paddle courts, swimming pool and solarium, Bar-Restaurant, terrace with spectacular views. Spanish, Catalan, English, French and German speaking staff. Open every day from 7.30 Am.

“Take a buggy if you're not used to hills!!”
Reviewed June 27, 2012

Played there 3 times in June and enjoyed it thoroughly.
Found both staff and members very helpfull.
It is a hilly course and also requires a moderate degree of ability to play!!
It was in good condition when I played there, however,I did find the greens to be very tricky. Probably me!
They do have a lovely restaurant there which is open to the public and they run a BBQ on a Saturday evening. The terrace does have an amazing 180 degree view to the sea.
The club does run an open competition for both ladies and gents every 2nd Wednesday which has a 70 euro entry fee. This is a little cheaper than the normal green fee.

“Probably the best view from a restaurant in Mallorca”

Lovely place, great service...can be pricey for drinks but food pretty good. Recommend the tapas selection at lunchtime.

“Forget the golf, just go for the views and the deserts”
Reviewed February 20, 2012

You don't have to be a golfer to enjoy this venue. Excellent panoramic views of the area, great coffees, wine, tapas and puddings.
If you are worried about being a left over Golf partner for the morning/afternoon - take your book, order some tapas, wine and just enjoy sitting outside on their terrace...and if the rain does come in, lovely comfy sofa's for you to wait on!!!
100% recommend - the modern tapas (samosas, spicy prawns, calamari, croquettes)...and would drive out of my way again to have their banana fritters and ice cream desert (oh and if this is off the chocolate fondant(
Great spot!
