What's more charming than touring an old walled city? Staying in a castle on the square which has all the modern conveniences and very nice service. We got the room with the big window overlooking the square which is a noisy playground around 5 pm when the kids get out of school and all the moms sit in a cafe to watch them play.
We chose the hotel because of an early morning flight, but the pinxcho bars are top notch and Honadarribia is another scenic stop in the Cote Basque tour.
