Thanks for taking the time to review . . . I know that as a business traveller there is less free time to do so. I know that you have stayed at most of the B&B's in the area so I value your repeat business and look forward to each new challenge as you present them in order that your clients leave happy also. Until the next time - Thanks so much. Melanie

From the moment we arrived in Casa Noble we experienced the most perfect 3 days off our trip.
The reception we received from Melanie our host was very warm offering refreshments as soon as we arrived. Our room was amazing, huge comfy bed, beautifully decorated room and views to die for from our windows! Molton Brown toiletries in our huge bathroom was a delight as were the scented candles and huge fluffy towels. A great added feature was a CD/docking station and a selection of CD's for us to use in our room, numerous books about Spain and general reading matter were available for our use. Melanie made sure we got the best out of our visit with her great local knowledge of places to see and eat. Try the tapas in the evening made by Melanie herself shared with other guests, it was a great way to meet new friends and share experiences about Spain. She made the most fantastic assortment of local dishes and if you go ask her to do her special fish if available!!!! Breakfast was delicious Melanie served and shared it with us and other guests. The hotel itself is beautifully restored, by herself and she has put love into every area. It is central to lots of bars and local shops. If you go to this beautiful part of Spain you will not be disappointed with a stay at La Casa Noble, we will never forget our stay Thank you Melanie.

Room Tip: We stayed in Castillo suite which had fantastic views of the town

You so promised me you weren't going to mention the fish to anyone . . . . ha ha ha. It has in fact become a favourite dish of mine now, so the fishmonger can be counted in the new friends that you made that weekend as well. As I said in my response to your partners in crime that weekend - it was a truly magical time for me also. The bests holidays are the ones where new friends are made and every experience becomes all the richer for the shared memories.
Fingers crossed our paths will cross again.
Cheers
Melanie

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this extremely comfortable and welcoming hotel. Everything was excellent. The house is beautiful, our bed was fantastically comfortable, and the room really dark and quiet, with a lovely bathroom with jacuzzi. Breakfasts were delicious. Internet connection very reliable. Melanie was so welcoming and friendly and her local knowledge helped to make our visit memorable even when the weather was poor. Don't miss Las Grutas - they are as spectacular as any you'll ever see.

I am so very glad that you didn't let the less than stellar weather affect your enjoyment of your stay here in Aracena. We are fortunate that it is such a beautiful area that it can be appreciated come rain or shine. Thanks for taking the time to let other fellow travellers know that the caves shouldn't be missed - they really are quite special. Lets hope the sun is shining next time you make it to Aracena.

Melanie is great. I would recommend this place to anyone. A log fire and the best Tapas we had anywhere, advice and help whenever needed, and a lovely smile!

Thanks for mentioning the tapas - it is something that we take a lot of pride in here at La Casa Noble and we are always striving to hit the perfect blend of local products and unique and interesting presentation . . . . special thanks too for the compliment on my smile . . . always a much better way to start the day with one than without one. Hope to see you again some time soon.

I would certainly recommend this place for people who whish to go with friends, couples or solo and enjoy the unique design and special Spanish ornaments in each room and halls, the big smile and good care by the hotel owner. You can also enjoy the Spanish tapas and wines at the fire place or veranda and feel relaxed.

It was an absolute pleasure to have you and your associates here in the house for the three days you were here - It is always a fabulous opportunity for us when the entire house is filled with people that are travelling together (whether for work or play) to be able to create a true home away from home. Thanks to you all for your generosity also - the face cream is glorlous and the chocolates were delicious. Looking forward to the next time you guys can come and stay.

a well placed and beutifully renovated property with a welcoming owner. We really enjoyed our overnight stay. Definitely worth a diversion if you are in the Area. I shant repeat comments in the other reviews but suffice it to say that the success of the entrepreneurial owner is well deserved.

I am a month behind in posting this review, but La Casa Noble is still very much in our minds. We visited Melanie for three days, from 24 to 26 November 2011, and what made our visit even more special was that the sun shone for every minute of each day. Not bad for Aracena at the back end of November!

However, this isn't a review on the weather, but on Melanie and her superb hotel.

We have all been tempted in the past with the word "boutique", and, as often as not, have been disappointed. So often boutique hotels have turned out to be small and cold, with indifferent plumbing, bearing little resemblance to the photos in the brochures or on the web.

Take all that out of your mind and spend those extra Euros to stay in what is probably the very best "boutique" hotel in Southern Spain. Melanie is a star; you will only fully understand what she has managed to achieve during the 2/3 years she spent supervising the renovation of this gorgeous but so elegant town house, by paying her a visit!

The suite we stayed in was on the front, with a typical Andalucian closed balcony, which had sufficient room for a couple of chairs and a small table. The actual suite itself was a delight. Large, beautifully decorated and very comfortably furnished, with nigh on perfect central heating that had no trouble coping with this large area.

The bathroom had a smallish jacuzzi bath, plus a large, separate, rain shower with superb water pressure; this had the added convenience of offering you water at a temperature of your choosing, so no unpleasant surprises half way through your shower!! The photograph of the bed that can be seen on the website is pinpoint accurate, but still manages to understate its comfort. I could well believe Melanie when she said that a very elderly guest quite rightly used a small stepladder to climb on to the bed. I almost needed one myself! But once up there, all you want to do is stay, as the bed, while being imposing, is, at the same time, welcoming and elegant, with the sort of mattress that most of us only dream of.

Much has been said in other reports of the quaility of the renovations, and all are spot on. The whole house is a picture. Add to that the bar she has also created, which opens Thursday through Sunday, the innovative tapas, and her enthusiasm for all things local then you have the picture. You may want to discover the best Jamon on the planet, you may be lucky enough to be there during the mushroom season, or you may just want to take in the beautiful scenery in the area. Whatever excuse you can put together to visit Aracena, then make the most of it by staying at La Casa Noble. It is seriously a good place to stay.

I truly appreciate the depth and detail with which you reviewed both the house and your experience here. It is lovely when someone notices the extra time and effort that has been put into making your stay unforgettable and it is very rewarding to know that it all is paying off. You are more than welcome anytime and my sincerest thanks for your kind words.
