The Hotel was excellent. Nice room (we were upgraded), incredibly welcoming and helpful staff, beautiful garden for dining and just relaxing. And, importantly, private parking in a convenient garage. Asolo is a charming well-preserved hill town and, pleasantly, seems to be off the tour group route. In mid-July it was uncrowded. The walk up to the old fort was worth the effort for the views and exercise, as well as the enormous stag beetle that landed on me. The Cipriani restaurant (in the garden) was very good, and not overly expensive given the quality. Fine local wine list. We would characterize this as a one night stop, but an outstanding one.

Difficult to find, which is not unusual in the hills of the Prosecco region, but worth the trip just to see the view from the garden. The Villa is no question an upscale hotel with luxury amentities. However, once behind the lobby, restaurant and grounds, the rooms, at least our standard double, was no nicer than many of the 3 star hotels we stayed at on our trip through Italy, Austria and Germany. Our room was small with a nice view of a neighbors rooftop. The room itself and bath didn't represent value for the price paid. Dinner on the garden patio, had the ambience, but once again, for the quality of food and service, it was overpriced. Asolo itself was nice but so are many other hill towns in Italy. We're glad we visited Asolo, but would not put it on our list of must see returns.

Room Tip: Would not choose a standard double based on our experience.

My 11 year old son and I are checking out today after a three night stay. It's been perfect! We are in room 301, highly recommended. It has a sitting room separated from the bedroom by a heavy, beautiful curtain. The bed is king-size, the bedroom lovely pale blue, large and with a gorgeous view over the hills of Asolo area. The sitting room has two windows, so a good breeze this time of year with no mosquitos. Great air-conditioning too, but I like to open the windows in the morning to hear the birds and smell the flowers.

Staff is wonderful. Camillo and Katia at the front desk are so warm, kind, helpful, welcoming. Met Sigfrido, the manager, who gave us a warm welcome too. Special admiration goes to Barbara, who works in the restaurant, bar, and delivered our room service breakfasts (there is also a lovely breakast spread down in the restaurant. Breakfast was included in our rate.) Barbara is so professional, efficient yet warm! Lovely person who does a great job, seemingly from morning till evening! Grazie, Barbara!

Also, the room and bathroom were spotless and kept that way by invisible housekeeping staff! Really excellent work and appreciated.

The garden is lovely, lovely in June, so we are lucky! We had lunch and a drink there. We had two dinners here, very good, with good service. Seems the serving staff work as a smooth team. They were so nice to my son. This is a relaxed, but elegant place for lunch, dinner or drinks. We ate outside once and inside yesterday. Dinner for two yesterday was 71 euros, no wine. Our room rate is 319 euros per night, plus taxes, I'm sure. It is totally worth it, in my opinion. On our month-long trip, I have booked places both more and lots less expensive, but splurging in Asolo is worth it.

I stayed here 20 years ago and fell in love with this hotel then. It is as good, maybe better. I love it!

Fyi, if you aren't driving (we are taking trains), your train stop is Castelfranco and the hotel can arrange a car transfer with an outside company for 35 euros each way. The car was a beautiful S class Mercedes, which my son was excited about) with a great, professional driver named Federika. We will use this transfer again later today to take us to Castelfranco and our train to Venice.

So, we have 0 complaints and only thanks and compliments to the Hotel Villa Cipriani in Asolo!

Room Tip: Overlooking the garden is lovely (I stayed in such a room 20 years ago), but the side rooms, like our room 301 are very peaceful (the restaurant is partially outside in the garden and though not noisy , it is not completely quiet in the day and evening). The hill views are beautiful. We had amazing weather, so that helps! Love room 301, but noticed that the two rooms on the floor below had large balconies, which would be nice for room service meals. Room 301 has great morning light too.

This is a gorgeous hotel. It is located in the very charming hill town of Asolo. The gardens and the restaurant for the hotel are just lovely with beautiful views of the countryside. Our room was terrific with a view of the countryside. The staff are very friendly and helpful. There are some wonderful sights nearby including Villa Barbaro designed by Palladio with stunning frescoes by Veronese. We loved staying at the hotel.
Perhaps our only (mild) complaint was that the food in the restaurant while very good
was not truly outstanding. But this is a mild complaint. Overall if you are looking for a luxurious
place to stay this is it.

With a family member having recommended this place, we were eager to visit & booked two rooms. It is an easy 60-90 minute drive from Venice - and I would recommend a sat-nav. Our rental car thankfully had one!
It is a lovely old character villa on the edge of an historic town with friendly locals. Parking in the garage wasn't easy & I felt 17 euros per night was a touch steep. But we had two rooms on the top floor, both with spectacular views of the surrounding countryside which made it all quite worthwhile. The furnishings of the rooms is nothing special & none of the rooms have a separate shower - you have stand in the bath (which I personally dislike). But the food & service is of a very high standard & the staff are very friendly.
Breakfast here on the terrace on the edge of the beautiful garden is a must that you will remember for some time to come.
In summary, this is a great base to explore the surrounding villas & countryside for a couple of days & is a lovely slice of rural northern Italy.
