Al Sole was a wonderful luxurious two days after much travelling. Wonderful friendly staff, lovely room with views over the hill to the valley below, A lovely small town with beautiful old porticos you walk along looking into the tiny interesting shops filled with interesting cheeses, proscuitti, pasticerria and clothes and shoes. The food on the lovely terrace at Al Sole was very special and characteristic of the area. The views from the terrace were enchanting in the late afternoon and evening. An enchanting town and Al Sole was a haven

Room Tip: A corner room on the 2nd floor overlooking the piazza and a lovely villa. A quiet position but hard to find with sat nav but ring them. they are very helpful as the satnave often doesn't accurately lead you to Al Sole. Worth the effort though.

We stayed here over Easter and although it rained much of our time, we had a wonderful visit. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful and made arrangements for us to tour a few Prosecco makers. A GPS is a *must* for finding them but it was a beautiful drive through the countryside.

The rooms in the hotel were very comfortable and well-kept. Lots of storage in the Superior Double Room with view. The colours in the room could use some updating (they scream the 90s) but really, no complaints. The restaurant was excellent quality and we had their Easter brunch special which was well worth it. I look forward to returning during a warmer month!

I’ve stayed at Albergo Al Sole with my family 3 times already and every time has been a gratifying experience. First time was several year ago, just after they opened the hotel and we were there most recently 2 weeks ago. The hotel is a beautiful site with all the charm and character of Asolo, it is one of those places you don’t expect to find. The room and everything in the hotel is cared to the detail. We enjoyed lunch and dinner at their lovely restaurant and it was always a delightful surprise. The personal al the hotel is always helpful. Another plus….you can easily get to Venice. Every time we go to Italy, we make time to go there.

Our most recent 7 day visit was our 10th over 14 years, which I guess says it all. Albergo al Sole is one of those special experiences, always has been so and nothing changes. The location, centrally and just above this medieval town is superb, whilst relaxing on the external balcony with a drink in hand is something else, especially on a sunny day. Privately owned by sisters Silvia and Elena since reopening in 1996, with a well trained and dedicated staff, with attention to detail and exceptional customer care are the secrets behind its success. Progressively the restaurant La Terrazza has developed to provide an excellent dining experience. When travelling in Veneto Albergo al Sole is certainly worth a detour, although have said that Asolo is a must, unspoilt albeit a bit busy at times, but with so much history, and close to some very interesting places.

Couple of nights stay. Central, position in dead center of Asolo. Great service with young and dynamic personnel. Magnificent breakfast on terrace with panoramic view on village and surroundings. I will definetly return when I can.
