“Lovely Experience”

I really enjoyed my day that my husband and I spent with Paola and Simonetta. Paola, thank you for teaching me traditional Tuscan cooking. It was great fun and both Paola and Simonetta were so welcoming. We had a wonderful meal with the family and the whole experience was great. Thank you for the memorable experience,

Spending 4 days in Tuscany , this was the highlight of the trip. My wife and I really enjoyed shopping for local produce with Paola and cooking with Simonetta.
The food, the people, the atmosphere and the setting where all fantastic we will not forget.

“Lovely time!!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 9, 2012

We had such a lovely time meeting these two sisters and their family-We really can't express our gratitude to taking us in and making us feel like family AND for teaching us such useful cooking techniques! We thoroughly enjoyed the cooking class and the wine tasting at Casanova di Ama! (We are eagerly awaiting our package!!) Daniela was such a lovely host and her wine was the best we had in Italy!

“It's all true”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 28, 2012

We found this gem through tripadvisor reviews and have to enter our own to thank the past reviewers and encourage future participants. My wife is an excellent cook and wanted to learn some traditional Tuscan cookery and I am a complete novice and went along (somewhat nervously) for the ride. It was amazing and so much fun. It was like a social gathering with 2 other couples and the family. We cooked, talked and sipped our way through a really enjoyable morning on June 13th and finally sat down with the whole family for a delicious meal we had prepared ourselves. We even learned that a 'Fiasco' is a flask for cooking beans!!
Thanks you so much Paola and Simionetta for inviting us into your kitchen.

“Great op to taste the good food and good life in the Chianti countryside!”

Two bright, friendly sisters and family share their passion for cooking, la dolce vita, conversation, and their family history. Have fun cooking with them, and enjoy their 13th century home and beautiful surroundings.
