“Best wine tour in Tuscany”
Reviewed July 27, 2014 via mobile

We visited a number of wineries during our time in Tuscany, and this was easily our favorite. Our tour with Maria was private and comprehensive, and we learned a lot about making wine and olive oil. The tastings at the end were also outstanding, the product is fantastic.

We asked the concierge at Castello del Nero to recommend a good Tuscan winery to tour and have a tasting. Casa Sola did not disappoint. Mateo, who is the third generation owner have us a personal tour of the vineyard and the fermentation rooms. He has a great way of explaining how he makes wine. The tour ended with a tasting of 3 delicious reds (a Chianti Classico, a Chianti Reserva and a Super Tuscan) and a sweet wine. We also were able to sample some of the estate olive oil. It was a great way to spend 2 hours and experience part of what is so special about Tuscany. We would highly recommend a visit.

“Fantastic place to stay and visit in Tuscany!! Not to be missed”
Reviewed April 24, 2014

I recently had the opportunity to spend two glorious days and nights at Casa Sola.
From to vineyard and winery tour to the fantastic tasting and wines I was really impressed. Friendly doesn't say enough. Everyone is truly made to feel like family here by the owners and their knowledgeable staff. The to the rooms that are really charming apartments in the vineyards..
Spotless, great kitchens, living rooms with fireplaces and great bedrooms and bathrooms for singles and families.
here is a stop you do not want to miss!!. Give it a 12 on a 10 scale.

“Great tour of the winery”
Reviewed April 14, 2014

This was our first winery tour of our trip and even though the four of us have been to winery tours in the USA, we learned a lot, including a refresher on how to taste the wine. We also tasted their olive oil and ended up buying both. It is a family-owned, small winery so you felt like you were getting something you couldn't buy in the USA.
