We have visited Osteria L'Antica Quercia 6 times over the past 2 years and we have never been disappointed.
In May 2003 We brought our wedding party here near the end of our trip, approx. 36 people, where we sat outside in the terrace with beautiful views and atmosphere.
As we were a large group, we were happy to eat a selection of foods recommended by the owner and staff.
The food is excellent value for money, quality and flavour is truly wonderful.
Every time we have visited we are always remembered (probably due to the fact that we took over the terrace at one point).. which I have to add that 2 days after we had our large dining experience, my husband and I went back for a meal and to say goodbye - the food yet again was perfect, service and wine delicious.

May 2013 - we visited again with with 12 in our party - service, food and atmosphere great with a lovely vibrant atmosphere. Complimentary glasses of prosecco while our food arrives.
We will never miss a visit here when we are over in Tuscany. Menu - hard to choose just one or two dishes as all so lovely! local produce used, wild boar and rabbit dishes are fantastic!! The roasted potatoes are to die for!! garlic, rosemary and breadcrumbs!!
Deserts...chocolate pizzas...what else is there to add...heaven !

We had dinner here on our recent trip to Tuscany. It was one of the most beautiful settings I've ever seen. The owner and servers were charming and accommodating, even taking a chef in our party into the kitchen to meet and speak with their chef. The tab was very inexpensive for all the delicious food (and wine) we consumed. Ask for Vanessa to serve your table -- she was charming and lovely!!! I highly recommend this place.

Great service great food fabulous location one of Italy's best kept secrets. If you can book a table outside on the terrace and watch the sun go down with a glass of the local wine you will not be disappointed.

The dinner we enjoyed here was one of the best we had during our stay in Tuscany. Regarding a remark placed by a fellow Dutch visitor regarding a reservation being necessary, with all due respect I can deny the statement. We walked in just before 19:00 hours without reservation and we could take a seat wherever we liked. We were welcomed by a most welcome young lady who offered us a local prosecco while we waited for the kitchen to finish preparations.
The menu contains mostly local dishes although you can also choose between a wide range of pizzas. Personally I don't like eating rabbit, but since the local dish was recommended by the nice young lady, I selected it anyway. The dish was absolutely terrific and made me revise my opinion on rabbit as a meal instead of household pet!
My partner and child had wonderful meals as well, especially the selection of antipasti an an appetizer was admired by all three of us.
The recommended local wine by Fattoria Sant Appiano deserves special mention, it was so good that we went back to the tiny village on another day to buy a dozen bottles. It was simply delicious.
The prices were friendly, and the view was a treat for the eye, which even got better at sunset.
We had one of our best evenings here and would recommend it to everyone.

We were lucky enough to eat diner here twice during our stay at a nearby Villa (Al Gelso Bianco).
The pizza here was so delicious we ordered it as an appetizer twice. We ordered the Pizza Dolce for dessert and ordered 2 for the four of us. Don't laugh you will be craving more too!!

The Bistecca alla Fiorentina was amazing and priced per kg. It is always cooked rare in the middle , even if you request another doneness. All around this restaurant was amazing. Friendly Master pizza maker, friendly staff good service.
