“Unmissable pit stop in Modica”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 2, 2013

After visiting all the beauties in town we stopped by chance in this average looking Sicilian bar. To our great surprise we discovered probably the best icecream in the east coast of Sicily. Here you can find approx twenty flavours ranging from traditional to exciting experimental. We travelled south from Messina through all the most recommended and award winning gelateria so please don't miss it. Ask for Antonello he will introduce you to his marvellous world.

“Great coffee shop”

Always welcoming staff, very reasonable price. Cakes and sweets are delish!! Located slightly outside of the centre - a real locals coffee shop!

“Wishing I could have breakfast here every day.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 28, 2012

This is the shortest time margin that has ever passed between a tasting and writing a Trip Advisor review.
Modica is full of great bars and pasticcerie, but we're so impressed with Mr.& Mrs.Adamo because they are as brilliant and welcoming as they are modest. There is so much to choose from: toasted almond granita and brioche for breakfast, or 'bigné' filled with ricotta, nocciola or pistachio creams (to name just three). The zeppole are Grazia's own recipe and delicious. They're enticingly spiced, rich and crisp.A good indication of how good the Adamo family are in the kitchen is in the aftertaste of the fried pastries: clean, sweet and aromatic. As far as we can tell almost all of the patrons are locals - and they have plenty of good reason to keep coming back.We bought some pastries to go and 3 bars of their artisan chocolate, too. Great artisan flavours.
