A pleasant base for visits to Ibla, Scicli, Noto Modeca and the see.
Good advice for sights and in the evening you can chose a delicious dinner.
A dinner with the other guests.
Very remote but very quiet.

We stayed 4 nights in a room (number 1)
so spacious there could be placed a family of 5! And the bathroom wasn't small either. We had our own little terras with the view on the beautiful garden which is Luca's pride. We give 5*to Luca's service at the breakfast and for his kindness and usefull tips.At Casa Brizza you have the illusion to live alone in the middle of nowwhere. We did only have one dinner here; too little to say anything about the food you get here.Luca: buy some matrasses for the chairs in the garden! A place to remember.A place to come back! A little hard to find though

You can feel how much the hosts care about their home and region. And they rightfully do so. Case Brizza is a fantastic place to stay and either relax or explore the south-eastern part of Sicily.
The farm was originally built in the 19th century and over the last two decades has been renovated by the current hosts. They put a lot of effort and even more love into this estate, which now presents you with a perfect mix of history and comfort.
The rooms are large and clean, the whirlpool a joy to use on hot days. If you choose the right time, you can even grab some fresh fruits from the trees that are all around the house.
All this makes Case Brizza a fantastic destination, but there's one thing that lifts it above all else - hands down.
The host, Giuseppina, treats guests to the some of the best dinners that we had in all Sicily. Typical cuisine, fresh fruits and fish, incredible flavours and tastes, put together by Giuseppinas top-secret recipies, are an absolute highlight!

The narrow road along the gorge promised an exciting locale. We followed the excellent directions (after stopping once in Pozzolo to ask local polizia.) After ten busy days hiking we needed some peace and quiet and a change of pace. That's what we found. Lovely restored stables with a beautiful room overlooking the valley, with an array of sweet dogs and cats to join us. Now I must mention our hostess, the lovely Giuseppina. A fascinating woman, she cooked extraordinary meals for us (not being italian I could not eat all the courses-wish i could have, and hope it was not an insult that I could not eat that much!) We enjoyed interesting conversations with her as well. What a pleasure to stay in and not have to travel to a restaurant each night, plus have delighftul company. Now, to the breakfasts, which were ample and delicious, with home-made jams, served by Luca along with conversation and travel tips.
Case Brizza was a fine jumping off point to visit ibla and Scicli, which we did, each on a different day, with good directions from our hosts.
We stayed three nights. I wish it could have been more. If we go back to Sicily someday I hope to spend more time here, as it is an oasis indeed. Grazie, Giuseppina e Luca!

Room Tip: I did not see other rooms but our was lovely. had a large queen or king bed, a sofa, and even a crib.
