“Fine Choice for Sweets”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 12, 2012

We enjoyed the chocolates and other sweets that we bought here, and also noticed the chocolate creations: hammers, tools and such! The service was professional, even after I'd repeated a just-answered question, my mind addled from the heatwave! This would be great place to get gifts to take home as well.

“Was on an Art painting trip ...went on a rekki at night”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 8, 2012

and chose the back of the cafe without realising...wow what a coincidence as they found us painting at the back... Great cappucinos and cakes. Bliss to be spoilt as the waiters would come and serve on site.. I felt we were in a La Dolce Vita movie.. The waiters and bakers explain everything which such a passion. They informed the boss that there were artists around.
He came to tell us hello and explain that he owns the choolate museum . which he invited us to go to ..but didn t have time..but in my case Thank God as am a chocoholic .!!!!

“Sweet experience”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 11, 2012

Though not a restaurant, this family-run pastry shop and gelateria is lovely. Like many things in Modica, it offers a lot in a tiny space: Great coffee standing at the bar or sitting at the outdoor table (or a small mezzanine if it is cold or raining), delicious granita and gelato, a nice assortment of breakfast pastries, often warm from the oven with crispy cinnamon-sugar outsides and creamy ricotta insides, as well as more formal torte savoie, marzipan, and Modican chocolate. They are attentive and will remember your "regular" order if you return a few times.

“Stop here for chocolate, coffee or ice cream!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 17, 2012

The chocolate here is just about the tastiest and simplest you will ever ingest! The peperoncino liqueur is exquisite.
