I have been using this olive oil for many years, it is absolutely top quality. I visited their facility with US friends and we learned about production procedures and techniques. There are various levels of seasoning and refinement. It is great both for using it with salads or as cooking oil. Absolutely recommended.

There's a lot of talk in the States about sketchy olive oil practices, so if you want to avoid the scams find L'Acropoli di Puglia. The olives are picked fresh and local, they're ground using traditional rock grinding methods, and the oil is kept underground in rock cisterns. True integrity- you will only find the best of everything with this extra virgin olive oil. They have five types: Mosto is unfiltered and delicious, great for dipping and finishes; Vivace is filtered (safe to cook with) and has great versatility; Amabilie is more subtle and great for fishes; Florido is our family's all purpose cooking oil; and Novella, which only comes out once a year from the first olives harvested. Basically, olive oils for every occasion. If you are in Puglia, please do yourself a favor and stop in at the location it's made. You'll have a wonderful tour by Vincenzo (who speaks amazing English) and be able to see exactly how the oil is made. Then you'll be able to taste the different types of oil and check out the products. Be warned: it will make you hungry!

I am italian and I live in Rome but I have been there twice in the last few years. This Place is really interesting, historic but in a modern way; it is managed by Vincenzo in honor of his granpa that he is known for anyone as Ramaccione; what can I say about him? the nephew has definitely saved soul and passion of his ancestor! Here olive oil taste is amazing and not only for the four versions but especially for love involved in their product. If you are around, take your time and spend a few hours there, this is the best suggestion that I could give you.

My favorite food comes from Italy, my favorite wine comes from Italy and mu favorite olive oil comes from Italy but the best of the best comes from Puglia. This oil is best of all I have ever tried in any part of Italy and even any other part of the world.
first I was here a year ago and was fascinated by Vincenzo and of course by this perfect oil. This year I was lucky to get there again. I saw again the process of producing the oil and tasted it.
Now I use only this and can't imagine any other.
Must see, must try, must buy this OIL.
