We spent only 1 night at Trulli Gallo Rosso. This is a first class B&B. Beautiful interior design with attention to details.
Our room was extremely clean. The scenery is astonishing, a paradise on earth.
Hugo is very helpful and charming.
We arrived in the dark, it wasn't very easy to find the B&B (14km from Martina Franca!!!).

We would go back any time.

We stayed in the B&B for 2 nights. This is a really beautiful place, very relaxing and quiet.
However, be aware of extra costs announced at the last minute when you pay the bill : change of towels for example. It leaves a bitter taste when leaving.

Il Gallo Rosso is a first class B&B with superbly decorated rooms and georgeous bathrooms. The location in the country is peaceful and beautiful, but well located between Alberobello, Noci and Martina Franca. Ugo, the manager, will make you feel at home and will keep you laughing and cheerful. Virginia, his mother, bakes apple cakes and makes marmalades for the delicious breakfasts. We were there in June when the enormous fig tree in the front produced plates of fruit for breakfast.
Virginia and Ugo prepared a superb supper on the outside, covered patio for us, our son and his wife, and two teenagers one night, making us feel like family, made with fresh, local products including burrata and orrechiete. It is easy to feel like a traveler, not a tourist. We were lucky to be staying there at the same time as the groom and some wedding guests, so it was a special occasion.
Highly recommended.

My husband and i recently stayed here with our 2 teens for 5 nights. We had one of the larger rooms which consisted of a master trulli with a bathroom en suite, a twin room with another bathroom ensuite, a sitting room and a small ante room with an open doorway and small window into which we put a second twin bed. Design details were gorgeous: stone floors, neutral colors, highend plumbing fixtures, high quality sheets and towels.. Bathrooms are like new from a magazine. Plenty of hot water, nice soap. Our hosts, Virginia and her grown son, Ugo, made certain we were fed brekfast each day at our convenience. Lovely cakes, fresh figs, homemade fig , orange and apricot preserves, yogurt, marvelous cappucino, and even eggs for my son. This B&B is set in the countryside about 8 minutes to puci and a bit longer into Martina Franca. It is so peaceful and lovely with hayfields and horses and other trulli estates nearby. The sun sets are amazing. Each day we made an outing to various beaches about an hour away. We then returned to the trulli to shower and later went into nearby towns in the historic centers for dinners. Ugo helped us choose where to go, provided directions and called for reservations. One night we stayed in to enjoy a fabulous meal prepared by virginia which included a delicious orchieta pasta, chicory salad and fabulous cream dessert. I highly reccomend this area for an unforgettable vacation. You will leave the fast paced world behind and relax!
