Fantastic boutique hotel in Gallipoli . Surprising quiet with clean rooms and an excellent front desk. The staff on the desk were very helpful and extremely friendly .
The one negative issue with this hotel is the very poor wi-fi connection in your room. Well worth upgrading to a room with a view of the port.

I used to be an usual customer of the hotel in the previous years when it was a family ran three stars hotel. I went back this year : new management, same look,, and one star more. Yes now is a four star hotel but the improved range doesn't match the quality of the service that are the same than before if not worst ( no disch Tv now ,heavy problems with Wi-Fi ) while prices are literally doubled.
some details :
a) the location is one of the best ; in the historical centre of Gallipoli
b) The staff is definitely kind, friendly and efficient except a gentleman you every day meet on the doorwayand you can't understand what is doing there : it Is supposed to be the owner who stares at you waiting to be greeted first, despite is your money that goes in his business!
c)the rooms are absolutely clean with an adequate air conditioning nice furniture, bath en suite : those overlooking the sea offer either the wonderful sight of the Mediterranean and the loud noise of the cars and scooter running on the main road just beneath your bed.
d) Rooms size is really small : average of about 9 square feet ...there is .hardly room to swing a cat
e) there is no waiting room , no living room, no reading room, and of course not even an amusement arcade : in other words when it 's raining ( could happen though rarely) you get bored to tears locked in your room, except you are honeymooners or in a sweet romantic tour
f)last but not least the daily price is absolutely exorbitant considering the range of the services.

All in all I won't give up going to Gallipoli but " Al Pescatore " will miss me next time .

The staff at the hotel were lovely, but there were quite a few things we weren't happy with. We stayed for 7 days, and didn't go for a sea view option. We knew this meant that we weren't going to get the best view, but we ended up in a room with a mouldy house outside and a generator that kept us awake. The wifi also stopped working for a few days during our visit and the cleaners came to our room every day between 2-4pm, which was around the time we wanted to come back from the beach. For what we received I felt the hotel was overpriced, but the staff at reception were always incredibly helpful. We still enjoyed our break.

Room Tip: Go for the sea view option
