Gallipoli seemed to have such mixed dining reviews that we weren’t sure where to go. On the day we went to the Tre Sorelli we had already had a large lunch and also thought the prices seemed a bit high. Consequently my wile decided to just have a Caprese and I ordered a pizza. The Caprese was huge, fresh and delicious and was more than sufficient for my wife (although having said that she did eat most of my pizza crust). The pizza was huge with a wonderful array of toppings and with a wonderfully light crust, nicely scorched. In both of our opinions it was the best pizza we had ever had in many years of trips to Italy. The restaurant was pleasant with a fresh rose on each table and bunches of roses in the clean bathrooms. We would have gone back for our second evening and pushed the boat out but they were closed.
