“Best Pizzeria in Arona”
Reviewed July 19, 2012

My title says it all really! The place is always packed with Italians, the pizza is fantastic, as are some of their other dishes on offer. They have a good selection of wine and beer too.

“Busy, noisy, yummy, fun”
Reviewed April 9, 2012

We were recommended this restaurant by the concierce at the hotel we were staying at, and we weren't disappointed. The fact that it was packed to the rafters was a good sign as we arrived, and we were really glad we had made a reservation the day before.

The service was pretty good, although the staff were incredibly busy due to the fact that every single table was crammed! The food was delicious, arrived in good time, and was hot and full of flavour. Their creme caramel dessert was heavenly!

My only complaint would be the fact that we asked for the bill, the waitress nodded and disappeared and we never saw anyone again! After about 30 mins we decided we'd waited long enough and so walked to the bar at the front of the restaurant. We found many bills, all set out on the bar and it turned out that you had to go to the bar to pay at the end of the meal. We hadn't realised this, and it wasn't explained by the waitress so we were left sitting for a long time wondering what to do (and unable to catch the eye of staff due to how busy they were!). So i've rated 4 out of 5, instead of 5. But it wouldn't stop be going back!

“Decent pizza, great location”
Reviewed July 28, 2011

The pizza was good; I've had better and much worse. The location is great; it is across from the piazza in Arona and you have a lake view as well. Get there early if you want to sit outside, The place is always busy and hard to get into. The service was slow; they were very busy and the rest of the food we had was fine. This restaurant was highly recommended by friends that live in Arona so we had high expectations. Perhaps it was an off night. I would go back again to try it. As most trattoria's in Italy, it was very noisy so if you are looking for a quiet relaxing place to eat, go elsewhere.
