Location in old center of Macerata, middle of all!
Very nice and familiar personell.
Breakfast was good.
Clean room.
The view from room, because of the location, wasn´t best one, but who comes to Italy only to sit in the room and look out!

This is certainly one of the best places to stay in Macerate. All you need from a hotel of this category. Clean, nice beds, lovely staff, delicious breakfast, not expensive and in the middle of the historical center, only a few steps from the most interesting places in town.

Good location, 5-10 minutes walk from the two main piazzas in old town Macerata.
Comfortable room, good bathroom and breakfast.
Very helpful front desk.
Noise could be heard at night from other rooms but after I complained to the front desk it ceased immediately.

Room tip: Ask for a room with a view

Stayed three nights for a friend's wedding. The location was a no brainer as it is a few meters away from my friends home. This is a simple hotel in a small town, so don't expect much in the way of decor and amenities. But it is clean, cheap, the staff very nice and attentive (I speak Italian, so I can't really comment on how they interact with English-speakers.

My room was a bit noisy as it was very close to the reception. It was also modest and a little bit small (the wardrobe door didn't fully open as it touched the nightstand), but it had a small balcony where I left my drinks to cool as it was winter. Don't know if they have an ice machine for guests who want fresh beverages in the summer.

There are two noteworthy amenities in this hotel that are not easy to find in old Italian towns, a lift and a (small) garage. If these are important for you, it's definitely worth considering the Arcadia.

Room tip: Avoid first floor rooms as they can be noisy.

After a nightmare attempt to find another hotel highly ranked amongst those in the Macerata region, we were delighted to come across Hotel Arcadia which has had a total refit and change of management in March of this year. The room we had was very clean and light, the hotel was surprisingly easy to find even though it is in the heart of the old town - it is very well signed, so don't be worried about navigating your way into this crazy maze of a town. There is garage space available and the staff are very friendly and helpful, especially Marco. The price of the double room was exceptionally good value at 65€ including breakfast and parking
