I went in search of this place after reading the Tripadvisor reviews. When I found this simple courtyard restaurant I was shocked by how basic it was, and almost walked away, but then gave it a try. It's a family business, a nadia was a very friendly mamma-like hostess.
The menu is short and simple, no antipasti, no prosecco, no wine list, and the simple bread was stale. The cappellaci in a tomato and basil sauce were excellent. The spezzatini also came with a tomato sauce (seems to be their staple), but the dish contained far too many potatoes, though the green salad I had with it was good. I had a carafe of red wine, which was a bit rough. The tiramisu for dessert was delicious.
The total bill was EUR33, more or less the same I paid the previous night in a much more upmarket restaurant with excellent food and wines.
