This is our second time (and for sure not the last) in this cosy and really italian, family run hotel. The owner and his sons are very friendly and helpful. We've travelling round Italy several times already and we've never had such a warm reception. We were trevelling with a 16 months baby and in this hotel we were very confortable. Actually we stoped in the Massimino for two nights on our way from the Fumicino airport to Napoli and back and thougt we've made an additinal trip by car to reach the hotel we've never regret it. The rooms are clean and cosy, our bathroom was brand new, the breakfest was good and the food in the restaurant in the evening was exellent!
Iа you are intended to visit Rome it is very convenient: the railway station is just nearby and it takes only half an hour to go to your destination. The beautiful Bracciano lake is also not far from the hotel and there you have some nice restaurants and cafes.
We would definitely recommend this hotel to everybody and for sure this is a place where you want to come again and again! We are grateful to the whole owner’s family for our excellent stay in their hotel!

This charming hotel has a wonderful staff and the owner and family, go out of their way to make your stay the best they possibly can. You can not help but feel like family. The food in restaurant was great and they make a great Tiramusu. Christina at the Front Desk was great at suggesting place to visit and things to do.

This is a rather late review ( as I'm starting to plan next years trip)but better late than never

We were a party of twelve golfers playing at courses to the north of Rome (Olgiata , La Querce and Marco Simone)

We stayed at the Massimino in late May.

All twelve of agreed on the excellence of the accommodation, the food, ( it was so good the

boys elected to eat in the hotel rather than find a restaurant in the town), and the staff, (who

were extremely pleasant and helpful)

Cannot recommend it too highly

The Golf courses were terrific too.

We had a brilliant stay at Hotel Massimino. We arrived early and were planning a day trip to Rome. We were allowed to park our hired car in the underground carpark for the day before we checked in later that evening, which was far better than having to leave it at the train station and were given a really detailed explanation of how to catch the train into Rome, the best stop for the Vatican City and even clear directions from the station in Rome to our tour guide meeting point. The kind lady on reception (who spoke excelent English) even gave us a print out of the train timetable.

When we returned from our day trip we were shown to our room, we had booked a standard room but had been upgraded to a fantastic apartment, complete with living/kitchen area, as well as a wonderful bedroom with huge LCD TV (which my husband loved). We had a meal in the Hotel resteraunt that evening which was good quality and a very reasonable price.

Would really recommend the Hotel, especially if you would like to be close to Lake Braccianno but are also planning to take trips into Rome, as the train station is very close.

I recently stayed at this hotel whilst working in Braccianno & I can honestly say that the family who run the hotel are the most friendly I've ever met. The food in the restaurant is fantastic, the service is second to none, nothing was to much trouble for them. It's location is ideal because there's a train station just two minutes walk around the corner that takes you into Rome, also there's a bus stop right outside the hotel which takes you down to Lake Braccianno and it's as good as a beach ! Thanks Davide, Ottavio, Enriqoe I'd like to come back next year for a holiday !

Nothing was too much trouble for this family run hotel. Our every need was catered for by the friendly, cheerful staff who couldn't have been kinder. They made us feel like family ourselves almost!
Lovely spacious rooms. Everything about this hotel is extremely pleasant and is very good value for money.
An excellent base for seeing Rome. The mainline train station is literally across the road, with a regular half hour train service into the centre of Rome. It costs 6 euros return, to include metro/bus travel.
A bit too far out to walk into the pretty town of Anguillara (about 4km) but there is a regular shuttle bus service.
Highly recommended!
