We stayed 11 nights at Ariabuona and enjoyed every moment. The apartment was spacious and spotless clean. You enjoy from the terrace a wonderful view of the sea. The walk down to Moneglia took us 30 minutes and a bit longer back up. Considering the small and winding road walking was the far better option also parking spots in the village are rare. We experienced our hosts as very friendly, helpful with advise on the region when asked.
A winding street up to the middle of the slope above Moneglia, a beautiful new property owned by a lovely family. Costanzo who takes the lead, Peppe who looks after the outside and nonna Lina who prepares lovely food. Whilst optional, the local culinary pleasures are highly recommendable - from wine, freshly baked bread and pasta, pickled melanzane, cheese, olive oil to fresh eggs, fruit and jam - just very enjoyable. Location is nice to just sit and enjoy the quietness and relaxing atmosphere, but one may also roll down to the town, have a walkabout or go to the beach, enjoy the little restaurants or take the train to the picturesque Cinque Terre. Rapallo and Portofino are well in reach and so is Genova. Very nice indeed. The flat itself is spacious, well equipped and very clean Thanks for the beauiful holiday week.
