We wandered into Tender without a reservation and were pleasantly surprised by how good it was. The personnel was charming and all but one person spoke English so it made it easier as our Italian is virtually nonexistent.
My first course of bresaola with parmesan and roquette was a very good choice. The Ligurian style stuffed vegetables were not exactly what my partner expected but they were ok. Again I think my main course might have been the better choice, the swordfish was very good. The pesto pasta was just fine.
When it came time for dessert, we actually admitted that we wanted to go for ice cream at a gelateria around th corner. The waitress was so sweet and said we were absolutely right and that she would bring us some homemade cookies anyway. Then one of the waiters came to deliver our bill and offered us two limoncellos. A perfect ending to a lovely meal.
