This was my first (and will be the last) time that I stayed here.
When checking the website to see what the rooms looked like they looked pretty good - but the advertising photos didn't look anything like the room I was in.
The room was so close to the highway that it felt like the trucks were right on top of us - needless to say; very little sleep. I asked to be moved to another room but was declined, they claimed they were full but it seemed like there were other empty rooms (to be fair they did offer another room, but it was just as close to the highway as the one that I was already in).
carpet was stained and old looking with bits and pieces added to cover where furniture had been removed, no safety chain on the front door, the fridge had packing tape on the inside of the door where a rail should have been and this was mouldy, the spa bath didn't work and had bits of the taps & fittings missing, the curtains didn't close properly - allowing in outside street light during the night (also contributed to a lack of sleep), the windows looked like they hadn't been cleaned for ages (there was a hat hanging from one of the winders from a previous visitor), our room wasn't made up on the second day even though I put the "Please Make Up My Room" sign and the towels smelt like they hadn't been washed properly.
I've stayed in plenty of Motels / Motor Inns & this one (as far as I'm concerned) is at the top of my don't go there again list!
