Great atmosphere, clean and stylish. Spacious room and a huge bathroom. Be sure to request a balcony room which provides a view of the sea in the distance. Staff were very friendly and accommodating, relaxed attitude with a smile! The layout of the building is fantastic with a few open areas were guests can read, relax, or sip wine, including a spacious lounge and a cozy terrace. Breakfast was delicious and a restaurant next door provided decent and very affordable food for lunch/dinner. Wireless internet worked flawlessly. This was a great launch pad for day trips along the Amalfi coast or private boat tour to Capri and surrounds. Grocery store also available right on the corner. Be sure to catch the sunset over the Mediterranean Sea from the lookout about a 10-15 minute walk west of the hotel. The only drawback was the busy street running along the front of the hotel. Lots of loud motor bikes made it noisy at times. Otherwise a delightful stay.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The hotel is in a great location just outside of Sorrento and within a few minutes walk to the coast and several restaurants and bars with great views of the sea. All of the staff were very friendly and welcoming. They also arranged for our day boat excursion to the island of Capri, which was amazing. My only issue was that the air conditioning seemed to not be working in our room. Other than that, we loved it and would definitely stay again.

Had a great few days staying here. Very helpful staff, and nothing was too much trouble. A must-do is to go on the tour that they organise with Francesco (El Capitano!) to Capri. Fantastic day, luxurious boat and so much fun. Boat trip alone was worth it, Capri was a bonus. Hotel is very quite and comfortable, breakfast is fantastic. Unfortunately missed out on the Cooking School, but perhaps next time... Met other really nice people staying at the hotel, who we will keep in touch with.

You will be well looked after and will leave a few kilos heavier. The food is excellent. The cooking school is a must.

It is two train stops away from sorrento so you spend some time getting back and forth. On a beautiful clear day we walked the coastline from sorrento back to piano do sorrento and it was stunning.

There aren't any bars or nightlife around the hotel but instead enjoy a delicious meal and relaxing evening in a comfortable big room.

Highly recommend but note that it is not in Sorrento but in a cute lil town 2 train stops or a $25 taxi from Sorrento. Very clean, big room and bed. Quiet. Great breakfast and balcony views. Sits over 2 bars but they are not loud. Very friendly and helpful staff Carolina and Roberto.

Carolina welcomed us with an ice cold beer after arranging a taxi pickup from the square following someone else's incorrect directions. Close to station and very very closw to beaches. Rooms are spacious, very clean and have great views of the sea. Shutters block out sun and double glazing keep outnoise. Pizzeria downstairs offers cheapest meals we' ve had in the whole of Italy in 3 weeks. Thry prpvided us with ice regularly and left the fridge in the room bare with bottle opener, perfect as we didn't want use of mini barbut of the fridge. Will definitely be back! Great locale tp explore Positano, Sorrento and Amalfi coast from.

My husband, my 9-year old son and myself were in Italy traveling for a month. We agree that the most hospitable hotel with the best breakfast is without a doubt Soleluna. The staff is so helpful and friendly that you feel at home. Also the hotel offers tours to Capri, cooking lessons and dinners at the sister hotel called Mami Camila. We went to have dinner two times and enjoyed it tremendously. I highly recommend Soleluna.

Room Tip: Request a room with balcony.
