Just got back from Ireland and Paris. This is one of the best kept secrets in Ireland. The hotel was ready and waiting to accommodate the guests. I was amazed how quiet the rooms were. There was a wedding at the hotel which went on all night (the irish know how to live) but you would never know it. The employees went above and beyond the call of duty. The gardens are so well manicured my children had the best time just running outside. It did not matter what time of day or night it was the staff always had a smile on there face and went out of there way to make our stay memorable. The food and service was top notch. I would highly recommend you take the time and visit Rathkeale and stay at this very affordable hotel. You will not be disappointed. The irish are the friendliest people but the people of Rathkeale are very special. i was very impressed with the culture and the community feeling you get in this town in West Limerick. It shows at this hotel. You all are rock stars. Thanks from your Las Vegas friends.

Room Tip: We stayed for four nights so I stayed on the first floor.

I stayed in the Rathkeale House Hotel in August 2013 for 2 nights. I was attending horse trials in Crecora. There was a regional darts competition on over the weekend I was there but you wouldn't have known as there was no disturbance in the bedrooms at all. The staff were very friendly and once aware I was traveling alone went out of their way to ensue I had everything I needed. Although reception was always staffed help was moments away. Food was also very good. The room was a little tired but took nothing from my stay. I would certainly stay in this hotel again.

Arrived late and everything welcoming and ready. Lots of parking and no bother with checkin. The room was really quiet, bed very comfortable and had an excellent sleep. Breakfast choice really good and it arrived freshly cooked and was very well presented and tasted very good . Service from check in to departure was perfect. No fuss or bother, just got it right for me from start to finish. It's very easy to find off the primary route, and very quiet

I love going to this Hotel when over in Limerick, Ireland. The staff are so helpful and polite which makes it a pleasure to visit to either relax with a quiet drink, cup of tea or having a good ole knees up with family & friends.
The restaurant has a varied menu offering excellent food & good wine which is real value for money. We had the fillet steak which was done to perfection and just melted in your mouth.
The catering for functions is absolutely amazing.......
Go on, drop in and see for yourself.

We planned to stay for one night, but extended our stay to three ! Our room was large, very clean and comfortable, overlooking a large garden. The owner and staff were very attentive and friendly. The atmosphere was very relaxed with large areas where you could sit quietly if you wanted.
The varied menu catered to all tastes and offered good value. The owner even produced his own jar of vegemite to cater to our Australian taste.
Rathkeale is central to lots of areas to explore making this hotel an ideal base.

Room Tip: Rooms with heavy curtains will block out late night and early morning sunlight.
