The hotel was clean and all the facilities up to standard.

During the day, the staff and other guests were friendly and respectful.

It was a bit noisy at night, but was else would you expect when staying in Malia.

We went as a couple because we got a great deal £230 PP for 7 days, including flights. If it had not been so cheap, we'd have gone somewhere more quiet. Still, we enjoyed our stay.

The bar / pool / sun lounger area was particularly nice and there are some amazing restaurants in the old town.

We hired a car so we weren't stuck in Malia. The Hotel has a decent car park around the back that was almost always empty. The hire car was worthwhile, but the driving is tricky, so I'd only advise car hire if you are quite a confident driver.

Me and my friend aged 19 and 20 stayed here for our first girly holiday.
Couldn't fault this hotel, as soon as we arrived we were greeted by George and Barbara and shown to our room which was spotless and had everything we needed, including a decent sized balcony.
The strip is a 5 minute stumble away which was perfect. The security guard Tony was so lovely and made sure when we came back that everything was ok and asked how our night had been. The food by the bar is well priced also. The corner shop is about a 10 second walk from the entrance of the hotel and sells all bits you would need.
Couldn't fault this hotel at all, clean, friendly and in an amazing location.
Planning on returning next year already with more friends, should definitely be more that 3 star!

We stayed for one week as a foursome in 2 separate studios. Rooms immaculate, good size and plenty of hot water. The open air/poolside restaurant served good food and drinks all reasonably priced. Service was excellent and all needs catered for.The outside area including pool was spotless. Security was excellent, with a night guard on hand to make sure that rowdiness was kept to a minimum and any instances were dealt with immediately. These studio's are situated at the top of Beach road, where the main road joins the Old Village/town so access to the " Nightlife Bars disco's etc is a 5 min walk, aswell as the Old town with local bars and the olderstyle Geek Taverna's. Would certainly recommend this hotel/studios - close enough to enjoy the strip, but far enough away to be able to sleep.

Room Tip: Rooms on the middle or top floor have large patio style windows leading onto a very secure and decen...

Stayed for a week with friends for a last minute holiday and 18/30 we are not. This resort far exceeded our expectations as we knew that Malia is the top 18 to 30 place to be. We were welcomed by George and shown to our room and it was a wow as soon as we opened the door. Super clean, well laid out with a 'thought about décor'. Lovely balcony looking over gardens and to the direction of the sea watching George senior tending his tomato plants in his garden. We breakfasted there each day and the food was delicious including their sandwiches which we had a couple of times. The staff were extremely friendly from the bar staff to the cleaners which lets face it doesn't always happen in Greece. Considering there a lot of young ones using this hotel it is kept to a very high standard. Thank you to George and Barbara we would not hesitate to return.

Staying at the Maria rousse was myself and 2 friends. Room was clean with fridge, little stove, toaster and kettle. The cleaners come in every other day.hotel grounds were immaculate the grass was kept short and neat! Pool was very clean and a nice temperature. Local beer mythos was great and cheap everywhere including hotel bar. Staff were friendly and very helpful we were asking about taxi's and George rang the taxi rank to price our trip up for us. Food was decent at the pool bar too. There is a security guy around the ground of an evening, to make sure that only residents come into the grounds, also telling to people to turn their music down if it was too loud. The strip wasn't our scene only went down it for the beach every other day and ate on it one night, so we ventured into the old town which was beautiful and only a 5 minute slow walk from Maria rousse. We walked into stallis which was around 30-45 minute walk. And find the blue sea fish restraunt it was amazing 15 minute walk and the food was spectacular. Enjoyed our holiday.would recommend to anyone.

Came back from the Maria Rousse two weeks ago now and all i can say is this hotel should not be a 3 star! It was a group of 4 of us girls, the location of the hotel was brilliant, beautiful views of the mountains from the room, the location was brilliant was only a 2 minute walk to the strip and 10 minute walk to the beach. The staff are lovely and made us feel very welcome on arrival helping us carrying are suitcases to are room. It was always clean and the food was lovely. I would 100% come back to this hotel and would recommend it to anyone! There is a short walk down the ally way to the restaurant what sales really nice bacon buttys, the bacon in Maria Rousse wasn't English but was eatable. I would recommend to take out quads for the week too and drive up the mountains, was the best thing about our holiday and theres a car park (quad park) next to Maria Rousse. 10 out of 10 on malia and the hotel it's self. Worth every penny. And have to go pre drink in heaven then HAVE TO GO REFLEX!!!!!! Best club in Malia!!!!

Stayed for one week with my boyfriend and had a brilliant stay! The room was clean and roomy and the air conditioning kept the room very cool. The pool was right outside and it was kept very clean and tidied every night. Security is very good and the bar area was very well maintained. The owners and staff were very friendly and helpful. Wish we had booked a longer holiday. Would highly recommend this hotel. Very close to the strip but far enough away that it was quiet when you need to sleep.
