The price that we paid for a 7 day all inclusive stay was about the same as a one night stay bed and breakfast at a british hotel so it was always going to get 5 stars for value provided most things were acceptable.
Accommodation. Half the rooms are in the main hotel while half are in annexes. The accommodation in the annexes judging from the outside have different sizes and views. Some have small or no balconies while others have large apartments and huge balconies. Some have excellent views while others face other apartments.
Our apartment was in an annexed building with a sea view, 50 yards from the sandy beach and 100 yards from the sea. It was cleaned every day. The bathroom was a reasonable size with a shower and bath plus a hairdryer. The bedroom had ample hanging and storage space, 3 single beds, tv, fridge, safe and phone. The balcony was a reasonable size directly facing the sea. Two bulbs blew while we were there, these were immediately changed.
Food - no-one complained about the food, it was mainly for the British Pallet, always cooked, reasonable choice and variety and a reasonable but not high quality. The all inclusive alcohlic drinks were also acceptable. These consisted of beer, local white and red wine, ouzo, raki and local brandy. Drinks were served upto 11.p.m. and served swiftly. As many drinks could be obtained when required, not just one as at some all inclusives. Some people obtained a number of drinks on their tables prior to 11.p.m. so that they could continue drinking without paying long after 11..
Entertainment. - A couple of days their was live entertainment but the other nights was just taped music. The bar area was always well attended every night although this was influenced by the location of the hotel.
Location - I have scored this 5 but depending on your requirements the location could be anything from 1 to 5. The hotel grounds leads onto the private sandy beach. If you are a beach and sea lover it is superb. 30 seconds from your hotel room to the beach. Once on the beach you are 30 seconds away from an all inclusive cool drink or food or toilet faciltities. There is also a large sandy public beach within walking distance.
There are a few restaurants, supermarkets and pubs close by but the main night life is a good 30 minutes walk so if you are a clubber then the hotel location is not ideal. Due to the location unless you just want 7 days on the beach it is recommended that transport is rented. A quad bike for about 50 euros for 7 days will get you around town, the mountains and the nearby areas.
Other Charges. Personnally i never paid any extra with the exception of 50 cents for 15 minutes internet use. Other reviews have said that they had to pay for the fridge this was not the case. Sun loungers on the beach but not around the pool were an additional charge. We never used this facility but the charges i understand were 4 euros a day which were in line with other hotel charges and also the public beach charges.
The staff were excellent , all spoke good english and seemed to enjoy their work. They were always ready with banter and were great with the British.
The hotel is advertised as a 3+ or 4 star personnally i would rate it as an extremely good 3 star.
I could not find fault - it was superb value for money.
