Why is there not a six star rating? If there was, this place would deserve it.

I stayed here last week with some friends and I had the time of my life. Not only did I have a laugh with the people I went with, but I also met some fantastic people who I will meet up with in the UK now - that's the best thing about Primavera, the social side... you mix, you can't help but do it and you get to know everyone, and everyone's there for one reason - to have fun!

The rooms are a good size - everything you need in them, and they're cleaned every couple of days too. The guys behind the bar, or Andy by the pool, or the staff in the kitchen, will always interact with you and make sure you're having a good time. Nothing's too much trouble.

Primavera is chilled during the day - unless you fancy causing some chaos by the pool, then that's fine - and buzzing in the evening in Oscar's bar is where the staff are always egging you on to have your best night out yet! The owners, a lovely couple called Nikos and Maria, would literally do anything to make your stay enjoyable - nothing's too much trouble for them. One of the best things about this place is that it's family run, so the little touches are personal, but it's pure Malia and exactly what you want for a week away!

Very reasonably priced, fantastic staff, perfect location. Two words for you - BOOK NOW!

stay at primavera was the best experience for the first time in malia. The friendly welcome that you get of the staff when you arrive they help you with luggage from the lovely adam, which was chatty and so welcoming. Our room was good enough for use to get showered and change amd go out as we spent mosrt our time at the beach and on strip. there was 2 of us in the room the shower was okay but they never feel like you own. drinks were cheap and the really stiff as well compared to the strip. the breakfast were good to sort you for the day when hungover. The security gard was friendly and if you needed water he would get it for you. Nikos and Maria are lovely and always happy to help. the maid only come if you opened the door for her if she knew you was in if not she would do it for you. she was friendly. never went to the pool as the beach was so close and the strip 3 minutes away from the hotel. a great place to stay great people great location deffo would stay there again, they made the holiday feel stress free and fun as they were always chatty and fun. good place for a good nights sleep even if you have had a few too many. would deffo only stay here again when i go back...!!!!1

Room Tip: top floor have a lot of stairs but are the best floor alot quieter than down stairs and great view.

Stayed as a group of 3 at early September. The staff are amazing and Nikos is always there to help you, making sure your holiday is stress free! The location is close to the strip and the beach. Would not give any faults to the hotel and recommend to anyone considering going to Malia as you will not be disappointed.

Stayed somewhere else this year as got a cheap deal but we were at oscars every night and joined the primavera pool party.

Location is ideal, drinks are cheap and Nikos is a legend! Literally 30 seconds walk to the beach and 3 min walk to the strip!

We stayed at primavera in sept 2011, a group of 3 18 year old girls on a week long party holiday.
It's in a great location, literally right next to the beach and only a 5 min walk to the strip with bars and resteraunts on the way. It's situated right next to 2 shops where you can buy food if you're self catering or alcohol for the night etc.
When we arrived at the hotel at 3 in the morning our details were taken by a security guard and we were lead up to our rooms. I didn't expect much from the rooms as we had only paid £50 each for the week, and it was very basic and a bit shabby. Our balcony door wouldn't shut properly and one of the panes of glass was missing from it, also I daren't touch the light switches due to the yellowy brown dirt on them (they were clearly suppose to be white). Being abit of a hygiene freak I did check the towels and bed linen and they were clean, expect for one of our towels looked abit manky but we had them changed in the Morning, no problems. The maid came in every day and she was very friendly and helpful. We met people staying in a smaller room than ours (for two people) and their room was much much nicer so maybe we were just given the dodgy room. On our first day we got talking to the daytime barmaid at oscars bar (the hotel bar) and she was so lovely, she told us of all the places to go and introduced us to Ian, who worked in The bar of a night. Ian was amazing, he was so funny and made us feel very welcome. Oscars bar was always busy of a night, and it was a good place to start off before you head to the strip, as Nikos the hotel manager would make your drinks VERY strong, unlike the watered down crap you would get on the strip. Late at night when people were arriving home from the strip, the security guards would stand at the front of the hotel and you had to tell them your room number to be allowed in. You couldnt bring any 'guests' back without paying €50 for the night and we watched a boy try to do this and his guest was told to go away. One night when we got into our room the bedroom was very hot so I sat on the balcony, in silence. I was shouted at by the security guard and was told to get inside immediately or he would evict me. Steady on mate, I was only trying to cool down and I wasn't disrupting anyone in the process! The pool area was nice, there was always music on and the pool bar was open most of the time, everyone is between the ages of 18-30 so it's a good place to socialise (or recognise them from when you were drunk on the strip on the previous night, awkward!). I'd recommend going for food at the red lion pub, we went there a few times and everything we ate was delicious. There's a McDonalds on the way down to the strip, a KFC at the end of the strip, a subway and a pizza hut and various other places on the strip so you'll never be hungry. Id also recommend a little bar/resteraunt situated down the road opposite the macdonalds, where you can sit in hammocks and drink cocktails, smoke shisha or have your dinner/lunch. The best clubs are zig zag/banana/candy/safari but it's worth seeing what 'offers' you can get from the smaller bars on the strip.
All in all we had an amazing holiday and malia is soo good, I would return to this hotel but I would definately request to be in a 2 person room rather than be stuck with the shabby 3 person studio room that we were given! Thanks to Nikos the hotel manager for our stay :)
