Group of 6 girls stayed here for a week. Loved the apartments, great location right at the bottom of the strip near to the beach. It was very quiet because it was coming to the end of the season - there was our group, a family of 4 and then a group of 4 guys. No problem getting a sun lounger by the pool. All the food at the pool bar was reasonably priced and of good quality. Rooms were of a good size.
However, there were a couple of problems. After a couple of days in one room we were infested with ants, which then decided to crawl over one of our beds. There was a hole in one of the bathroom fittings that let the ants through - no food drew them in! The shower didn't have a shower curtain and so the water from the shower went everywhere. The hotel only provided one roll of toilet paper - which wasn't even a new one at the beginning of the stay from then on you had to buy your own. The house keeping did not regularly change the rooms and as you had to put used toilet paper in the bin rather than flush, it got quite disgusting.
The worst day was the last day when we were checking out. The owner checks the room to see if there had been any breakages throughout the stay. We had broken a glass which was €3 and there was a chip in a mug - which we did not do - which was €5, which we were happy to pay. However the owner said that there was a crack in the table outside and wanted €35 for it - the table was still functional and there was no reason for them to buy a new one. We had not used this table and therefore refused to pay. They then refused to give us our passports until we paid the fine and were very rude when we were being calm. The receptionist had taken our passports at the beginning of the holiday, to make sure we would pay our fines when we left. After refusing to pay we decided to call the local office for the tour operator (Olympic) who stated that it was illegal for the hotel to hold our passports in the first place and that they should give them back. After then speaking to the owner, the owner told us that they had said that we had to pay the fine and then we would get our passports back. We then rang up and the local office said that they had told them to give us our passports back needless of whether we paid the fine. The police were then called. After the police turned up 4 of us got our passports back - the people who were in the room with the broken table did not. After the owner having a heated discussion with the police we managed to get our passports back.
I would not stay in this hotel again and would not recommend it to anyone.
