wen me and the girls first got there van gave us a list of rules , me and the girls were a lil worried after this talk , however once this was over he gave us free drinks at the bar and slice of pizza ( which is just a 1 euro great for the end of the night ) , and every night since then he looked after ours keys and had laugh and a joke with us all night..

Make sure u take an extra 70 euros for the safe and air con which is well worth it ! After Vans meeting we had a meeting with our reps , and booked a few of the trips which were great as we met the whole of the hotel and got to go out all together !! Reps were awesom, bar staff were amazing really look after you ! the bbq is also a must .

The hotel is a walk from beach and we did have to pay for new towels , but we did cover them in neon paint so we wasnt botherd about paying as they were ruined , just make sure u dont ruin ur towels and sheets other than that you will have amazing time

Just returned from a week in Malia with 7 other lads. Please don't let this review put you off as we had an amazing holiday, but I would like to give you a true frank representation of this dive, as I read such reviews in great detail and find them highly useful.
Hotel facilities whilst basic, we're sufficient. If you're like us, you'll use this as a base, and you'll find you have everything you need.
The location is not the best, but is bearable for a week. I read reviews about it being miles out. A decent 10 min walk from the strip would be more accurate.
We had 3 rooms, each were vastly different from one another 307 had a fantastic balcony, which would have been great had we been allowed to use it. 310 was ok, and 221 was very large.
The pool was small but good, and bar fantastic as it was open 24/7.
Upon arrival we were given a thorough dressing down from whom I presume was the owner, we're not rowdy lads, and are not the sort to cause trouble. As soon as we walked through the door, he took our passports off us and ran through his long list of rules and threats-a great way to set and impression and make them feel welcome, also exactly what we wanted when we arrived at 3am exhausted after a long days travelling! His moodiness and patronizing behavior persisted for the whole week.
The bar staff on a whole we largely friendly. We were greeted with free drinks upon our first visit to the bar. Reading through other reviews, the consensus seems that everyone loves the bar staff! The girls were great fun and friendly, the big lad was such a laugh, but the other bloke came across as a bit of a sleaze but again was a nice guy! The plied us with free shots throughout the holiday and couldn’t do enough to make you feel welcome.
Our mine gripe was the security guard. He would not allow us to visit friends from our parties room, would persistently intrude our rooms to ensure weren’t doing so, and was generally smug in trying to enforce the ridiculous rules this hotel has in place. It seemed he was power mad wandering round with his torch out, and was very volatile with his mood swings. One minute he’s pretending to be your best mate, and the next he’s talking down to you like a little boy. Whether the language barrier between us exaggerated this, I’m not sure? But there is a way to speak to people, and he simply had no personal skills. Speaking with other guests they were of the same feeling, and throughout the holiday I heard many conversations of the same ilk. He was vastly keen to enforce the 4 seasons ridiculous rules, which included not going on the balcony after 11, drinking in a friends room before heading to the strip, or talking to a girl he is leeching on. If however you want to go to a hotel were the security guard pretty much forces a girl too drunk to know her own name to get undressed in front of a camera, then you’re going to the right place. But for fear he’d do stuff to our belongings I would have told him exactly what I thought of him.
The man is a horrible creature. I shall post a picture for you all to see him!
That aside Malia was amazing. I’m sure there are many nice hotels to stay in within Malia, the four seasons isn’t one!

Room Tip: 307 had a large balcony

Stayed here in June on a lads holiday,3 of us all together. Was very worried before we left because of the bad reviews, but when we saw our room it immediately cancelled those worries. We stayed on the top floor of the main block over looking the pool. The room was perfect, very modern and spotless clean.Only 2 things that was a prob was the fridge wouldnt cool and the bathroom used to get very wet from the shower, small issues. The manager at first seemed like he was going to be a pain but once he had read us the rules,he lightened up and became Van the man. The bar staff are top in here,Aris, spirras, nicky and Jess cant do enough for you and it keeps going 24/7!!!. Not a huge selection of food, but Georges food is top notch, great for a snack. The strip is a bit of a stroll, max 5/10 mins, but makes the hotel queit and way more relaxed. The club reps are crazy, where Dan gets his energy is still a mystery :D .Will definetly go back here cant say enough about it and its staff, the security, the cleaner, and vans wife, especially after she gave me after sun. OH AH MALIA!!!!
P.s: Do the bunjee jump at star beach, highlight of the hol.

Room Tip: Top floor main building, put in this request with your travel agent.

When you arrive the manager will give you a long speech on the rules which can be quite annoying but you just have to list to it. When you get to your room make sure you list everything that was damaged before you go to sleep that night as when we didn't the glass in the door had a crack in and we assumed they would know by cleaning the room when people leave and we got done for 150 euros because the glass was broken and our rep did not help us out.
We had a top floor room in the main building number 313 and its like a penhouse room so the room is lovely but all the manager wants is money and if you don't give him the money he wants he can turn nasty, air con is 70 euros a week and your get the safe included in that although I wouldn't say your rooms are very safee as we spoke to some girls in the new building and the security gaurd has just been walking in there room when they are sleeping and even opened the room with a key while they was asleep because their 'window' was open. The hotels nice and the bar staff are lovely the only thing that let's the hotel down is the manager as he will scam you, the cleaner seems friendly but when she causes an issue she just replys with no english when she can speak english and the security are abit dodgy
