This is quite spectacular. Reminded me of my early trips to the south coast of England promenading along the pier. Well worth the trip

Very windy at the top but well worth the amazing view. Don't bother to do the dive gondola at the end of this peer. You pay €8 per adult and see NOTHING. They play a movie for you of what you could see. The peer is spectacular and the ocean crashing underneath it is spectacular.

This bridge jutting out into the sea is an attractive setting for a walk out into the sea--or tea or coffee in the excellent restaurant on the bridge.

Located on Germanys largest island Rugen, this pier is a reconstruction built in 1997, in length of 394m. The original pier was built in 1906, it was 500m long and included the restaurant. In 1920, parts were burnt down and the rest was destroyed in the winter of 1941 by heavy ice of the Baltic Sea. The construction of a new pier followed the original plans.
Today, the Seebrucke Sellin, with it's restaurant is quite lovely and very romantic during the evening dinner.

I absolutely love the Seebruecke. Whenever I think of the Baltic sea, this is exactly what comes to my mind. It is a beautiful building, very romantic and the café inside the pavillion is also cozy and good.
