Modest hotel in front of the lake with restaurant and good breakfast. There is a parking near the hotel. Annecy is a short distance and there are many other cities around the lake.
The room is basic but clean.

The location of this hotel was superb and well placed to explore this beautiful area of Annecy. The welcome & service was warm but unfortunately our room, although it had a balcony overlooking lake Annecy (and the main road), was quite "tired" and in need of rennovation. The bathroom was very compact and "tired" also. The restaurant and food were good but we wouldn't chose to stop again unless rooms improved
Nicely located with views of the lake. The room we stayed in had not been renovated yet but was still fine, even if the decor was outdated. The newer rooms look lovely and have been done very nicely. We didn't have breakfast in the restaurant as it was extra but instead took a walk 5 mins down the road where there is a wonderful bakery. The restaurant looked very nice and popular though and the evening menu looked lovely. Parking is easy and free in the municipal parking garage to the right of the hotel. The only thing the hotel needs to fix is the terrible locks on the doors of the older rooms. A couple of times it took a few minutes of key jangling to get the lock to open or close. I imagine this will be fixed with the renovations but we were slightly concerned about how safe the locks were. There are safe boxes in the room though. Also check the price you're charged on the way out - we'd been quoted a price per night for a renovated room, but were given an old room on arrival. We had to point this out when we were checking out which led to a reduction in the price we paid over what the quote was.
As previous writer said - basic, but clean, confortable, for touristic purpose, not to spend your day in the room.
We spent one night here en route to the south and can heartily recommend it. The rooms are fairly basic although the definitely have charm and the plumbing leaves a little to be desired but for the price we paid, we thought it very good value for money.
The food in the restaurant, however, was absolutely excellent - one of the best steak tartares we have ever tasted!
The location and views over Lake Annecy are stunning and there is so much to offer in the area - cycling, boating, walking, visiting beautiful Annecy.
Staff were charming and the young waiter in the restaurant keen to use his English - considerably better than the French of my son of the same age!
As one of a series of Logis de France on a long trip, this hotel was a disappointment.
The furnishings were old and tired, and the dinner a disappointment, both in quality and in time to serve, especially as we had been asked to order an hour before we went in to dinner.
The lights on the staircase were not working and the steps did not feel level. our bathroom had seen better days with a cracked bath and badly fitted plastic wall covering.
One man was covering the desk and the breakfast, which made paying the bill very lengthy.
