We were delighted with our top floor, village facing room with balcony overlooking the square and mountains.

It was room 16; room 17 across the corridor was also very nice and slightly bigger.

The hotel is perfectly situated right on the square of Le Grand Bornand, a lovely French village in the Alps. There is a delightful patisserie next door, very popular with the locals, and a great restaurant next to that, and 'pub' just across the square.

Our room overlooked the square and church, which is beautifully lit at night. Central but a quiet village so no noise from outside at all.

The hallways are very characterful with nice Alpine features.

Our room was nicely decorated, the bed was extremely comfy with lovely snuggly pillows and a warm duvet. There was plenty of storage space for all our ski wear and there is a heated ski and boot room downstairs.

The bathroom is a little tired, and the shower quite small, but was satisfactory.

Main downside for us - the very noisy at all hours family in the next room whose kids also ran riot frequently in the corridor outside our room. I appreciate they are on holiday and the kids are just having fun, but they really were very loud and undisciplined. Moral of the story - don't holiday in the Alps during the French school holidays!

Very hospitable and accommodating host. Rooms small but nicely decorated and in keeping with local area. Bathrooms a little tired and showers small, but powerful and plenty of hot water. Wifi patchy in rooms but sofas available in halls, where access was very good. Simple but ample continental breakfast.
We were particularly grateful to be able to store our suitcases and use dining room as a base on our last day as we weren't being picked up until evening. Access to a shower was much appreciated and meant that we were able to freshen up and change after our last morning on the slopes. Lovely patisserie next door and lots of restaurants nearby. Would recommend.

Great stay in a fantastic little hotel. Balcony looking over village square. Amazing pub 50 meters away. Great restaurants close by. Good breakfast in hotel. Only downside was Internet not great unless in hallway/reception.

I booked into this hotel via skiweekender, with a half board package. Have to say, the food is the best I had for skiing holidays. The dinner even includes half bottle of wine per person every night. You can choose from white, red and rose. The service in the restaurant is super friendly, lovely French people. The room is not big but cosy. Really like its comfortable bed. Different from other skiing accommodation with standard small single bed, it is much wider.

The owner is a lovely French lady, very helpful. When I asked for English breakfast tea in the morning, it only has LIpton blacktea. She told me that she would get the tea for me. I saw a pack of Tetley English Breakfast tea bags. I should get a medal for promoting English brands overseas! :)

The only downside is there is no wifi in my room. Free wifi in the public areas.

Very hospitable, very friendly staff who are always courteous, always keeping the place clean, and always helpful. There's never anything empty at breakfast and staff are always there when you need them. Would definitely come back here and advise it to everyone. Thank you for the stay La Pointe Percee
