Good location, ski in ski out, regular bus service to the village centre -walking is also possible- free taxi to drop you off and pick you up from the village after a night out.
Some restaurants even bring food to your apartment.
Ski facilities great, restaurants nice and friendly. Service finishes early, you cannot find anything to eat if you decide to do so after 22:30 and always preferable to book in advance.
Shops are available in the village for your daily shopping if you decide to cook.

The room is well equipped, you do not have a microwave oven but you have an electric oven.
Nespresso machine takes professional capsules, so do not bring the regular ones, they won't do.

You can ask for extra towels, no problem.
Room service comes once to do superficial cleaning, don't expect much.
Think that you are at home without help.

The only negative for me is the fact that TV does not offer many English channels.

I would definitely go back, however, I believe that staying in the village is less luxurious but much more practical.

For the last 2 years we have skied in Flaine in the winter and thought we might give it a go in the summer. This was our first visit to eos and we were very impressed with the facilities. In Flaine there were lots of activities for all ages and our children could go off and do all sorts including archery. All of these activities were covered under the hotel booking fee. We also played the local golf course with its spectacular views, the best of any course i have played. We will be back next year!

Fantastic location. very modern, clean, spacious and well equipped apartments. Nice warmed swimming pool (a plus if you come with kids). Friendly and professional staff.

The region is very beautiful and there's tons of stuff to do. Chamonix or Geneva are just little over an hour's drive away.

Summer's the best time to go as prices are reasonable compared to the winter season.

A fabulous hotel with stunning views of the mountains. Deluxe Rooms are clean and very well equipped for self catering. Hotel is high above the resort so use the free bus service unless you fancy a walk.

For a 5 star vacation residence it lacks some basic services like a cafeteria.
The breakfast served is a joke.....there were flies on top of the ham and cheese...hygiene was definitely not a priority. They are understaffed - there was only one lady at the breakfast area....and when we arrived, around 10:00 the majority of tables were still dirty.
Our mobile phones didn't have network so we had to use the landline....but in order to use the landline you have to ask reception to unblock the line. No problem with that. However when we called reception to unlock the line the answer was "we have lots of people at the reception, we can't do that now....so you have to wait"....and so we waiting roughly 30 minutes before the landline was activated so that we could make our phone call.
There are no restaurants at a walking distance and although we were told that there was a cafeteria at the residence, there was none....unless you have food with you, or come prepared, you risk yourself of not having any food or restaurants around you.
The apartments are good. Probably the only good thing.
The pool is far too small for the amount of people they have in the summer. The Spa facilities consist of one sauna and one steam room....and a small jacuzzi.....and a gym, with old machines. Very disappointing. I have no idea how they are rated 5 starts......
If I knew I wouldn't have stayed there.

We stayed here in March 2013, and the apartments were luxurious. We had a 2 bed apartment and had plenty room for the 5 of us. Nice touches with the welcome pack and soap etc in the bathrooms. Also a bonus getting your beds made up and towels, with a change of towels during the week and a quick clean if you wanted. Ski in and out was a bonus and our apartment being at the back meant I could look out for the rest of my family returning off the slopes. The skiing for the week was great for experienced skiers, although with me being a non skier there was still plenty to do and was able to go into the pool and spa facilities in morning. Look forward to returning.

What a fantastic apartment in a brilliant location. Had a 2bed 2bath apartment. Well presented apartments with decent space, clean and comfortable. Lovely fire in the lounge which you can buy logs for but it is very cosy without going to the trouble. To have an apartment to yourself as well as have a good reception service to order bakery delivery, courtesy bus to local shops etc is the best of both worlds. Jacuzzi was a great bonus after a good day skiing and even had a swim in the outdoor heated pool (strange experience but fun). For the skiing - to start with the boot room was brilliant with good space to store equipment allocated to each apartment and lock provided on arrival. Easy access out the boot room door to the slope. 3rd time in Flaine and this was our best accomodation to date. Would be hard to beat I think.
