Our guesthouse is appreciated for its quietness and silence. None of the other guests present during the same night made any complaint. They didn't hear any noise.
There is no donkey in our neighbourhood.
Our dogs are mentioned on our web-site.
By the way, the guests booked for four nights and stayed only one night. We didn't charge them the additional booked nights.

we had booked La Courtesie only for an overnight stay. On arrival we received a very warm welcome from Madame Ghysels Goossens who came to greet our car - under a huge umbrella - as the day we arrived it was pouring! Large fireplace in the main living room - makes for a very cosy atmosphere. We rented 3 rooms - all impeccably clean, roomy and comfortable. Very peaceful location. Very relaxed and homely atmosphere - this is their family home and you are welcomed into it as part of the family. Nothing is too much trouble for your hosts. They are really relaxed. Delicious breakfast - beautifully presented . Good English spoken.
On a sunny day this place must be heaven - many terraces, natural garden and heated pool.
Would go back again with out a doubt if in the area again.Thank you M and madame Ghysels Goosens for a warm welcome.

We loved this little treasure in Provence. It was a luxury trip even though we went with our three kids. Marie Ange and Phillipe make you feel very welcome and comfortable. The garden and pool are perfect for kids and adults. But personally, the best suprise was the gourmet food and wine we were treated to. For the price we paid we were really treated to a luxurious vacation. I highly reccomend La Courtesie... Happy travels!

First of all you should take into account that La Courtésié is not hotel, but very small “family” B&B.
Pro: The B&B owner couple is very, very friendly. They have two rooms: large comfort one with Jacuzzi and “regular” with bathroom in a couple of meters far from the room. The breakfast is excellent includes ham/eggs/cheese/yogurts etc.
Con: It was very hard to find the B&B: address in <BOOKING.COM> is not correct: currently this is other city and other street. When you book the B&B and receive BOOKING confirmation in <driving direction> you can see the B&B coordinates – use them:

Latitude 43.475657004286006, Longitude 5.8368730545043945

The B&B is located in “country” so for security reason there is a pair of dogs – very friendly also, but my wife was in panic.
At last if you want to have a diner you are to drive a few kilometers in the city itself

Very warm and personal welcome and attention in this high quality accommodation. Having tried both a Gite and one of the B&B rooms, we would recommend both.Very relaxing, peaceful and friendly. Extremely welcoming to our baby. All baby equipment can be provided and nothing is too much trouble. Thick walls and the layout of the accommodation also mean that you don't have to worry about disturbing anyone else. The dinner option was also excellent. Lovely food served with interesting conversation. Also great to have use of a pool when travelling as a couple without having to stay in a large hotel. Having seen us sitting outside having an aperitif by the pool one evening, Marie Ange popped out with a plate of delicious accompaniments for us. This sort of approach is typical and makes for a memorable stay.

Very warm welcome from Marie Ange and Philippe who are very attentive and friendly hosts. We asked for the cheaper room but as it wasn't available for the requested 3 nights so we were offered one night in a gite and the other two in their nicest room for the lowest price. The Provencal decor is lovely and furnished with taste. Very pleasant breakfast area with all you could want on the table for your morning feast.

I am not a dog lover and was a bit apprehensive at the sight of their two "guardians" but needn't worry as they are very well behaved and never come inside.

Overall, a very good stay.

We spent 5 days/4 nights is "La courtesie" (St Maximin la sainte baume). As usual, warm welcome from Marie Ange and Philippe.
We have been accomodated in a a room named "le paradis", this is like a junior suite (sitting area), king size bed and badthroom 'jacuzzi). Very comfortable and spatious.
You can take the dinner with other guests( must be booked in davance) (proposed at least 3x/week). This is a top class experience with appetizers, starter, main dish, cheese and dessert. Everything is "home made". (duck liver, oesters, salt baked sea bas...). Excellent quality/price ratio and much more better than all restaurants in the regio when you pay too much for what you receive. Very good breakfast as well with fresh orange juice, eggs, jam, cheese, ham... coffee/tea...
Marie Ange and Philippe will always be available to recommend you some adresses in the region and interesting places to visit.
You will feel relax, taking the sun and enjoy the life.
