Stayed for a long weekend. Great place; everything finished to a very high quality. Really helpful hosts who get the right balance between information and intrusion. Not much in the actual village itself but we found a range of restaurants quite nearby, from high end cuisine to some lovely rural bars that served great food with terrific views. Highly recommended.

This was our 5th stay at Cinq et Sept (3rd time in the Pezenas Suite) and everthing was as expected - Excellent!!
The hosts, Alex and Greg, are both welcoming and charming. Dependning on how familiar you are with the area, they offer the right amount of guidance and advice and are always very approachable.
Cinq et Sept is a stunning property; it is so easy to unwind and relax as well as having the convenience of todays mod cons i.e. wi-fi, well equipt kitchen, tv/dvd. In addition to convenience, the rooms are also tastefully furnished and more importantly - comfortable.
The gardens and outside areas are the jewel in the crown. An amazing pool, sun-bathing terrace and summer kitchen all add to making your stay worthwhile and provides confirmation that you have made the right choice of where to stay.
This review might seem OTT or 'gushinig' - all I can say that this is the very first review I have written on Trip Advisor and after 5 amazing visits to this establishment (I should have written a review sooner) it is an honest appraisal and totally deserved.

A comfortable guesthouse in the south of France run by 2 British guys. We stayed there when it was a bit too cold to make use of the offered facilities, such as the pool. The room (Gabian) we stayed in was on the second floor : some remarks : we did not have a nice light sitting area near a window; to go to the pool, we had to go down 2 floors, through the private kitchen of the guesthouse which felt intrusive. There are little meeting opportunities with other guests when the weather is not good to stay at the pool. A simple get together drink would solve this; instead a bottle of wine in the fridge was offered. Very British feel to it in general. Very hard mattress on the bed too.
In general : it is a nice and comfortable guesthouse but we missed the personal touch. We would advice guests to choose a suite on the ground floor rather than the second floor.

Room Tip: choose a suite on the ground floor.

Yet again, fabulous hospitality and a very relaxing stay. The heated pool is a real bonus in September, even though the sun was still baking hot. Might have to book Pezenas or Neffies next time to get a bigger bed, not used to the standard double size that you get in the other rooms!! Met some fun people while there and looking forward to returning.

Room Tip: If you prefer a bigger bed then go for Pezenas or Neffies.

Outstanding from beginning to end. We stayed in the Nieffes Suite on the ground floor with a private balcony over looking the pool. A great choice. Immaculately clean and comfortable suite, great pool area and very relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. Just one comment, I'd advise not parking in the street. Use the suggested car park as my car was damaged.

Fabulous retreat in the south of France in a beautifully restored period chateau with the addition of some great modern features, swimming pool, honesty bar, to name but a few.

The attention to detail by hosts, Greg & Alex is second to none and deserve full credit in having developed such an excellent boutique guesthouse/ self catering complex.

Shall be back!

The welcome from Greg and Alex was warm and genuine. Its clear they want to ensure guests have a relaxed and quality stay at Cinq et Sept and they go that extra mile to ensure this. They were wonderful throughout, ensuring they helped in any way they could. We treated ourselves and stayed in the Pezanas Suite. It really was faultless! What a place and somewhere we could easily have stayed for several weeks. It is by far the most spacious of the options on offer and is full or equipment and facilities. Although the bathroom was a bit cosy, the shower was a really generous size and could easily fit three people. The bed is enormous and soo comfortable with top-quality linen. Although perhaps the room was a little pricey, it was still absolutely great. The premises are close to the main high street in Roujan with a number of handy cafe's, patisseries and other services nearby. And getting there from Montpellier was easy, as our hire-car completed it in around an hour, and the roads and directions are really straightforward. I would highly recommend staying here and we are already looking at our calendar for the next visit. I would again stay for the Pezenas Suite because it was so much roomier - go on, you won't regret it!! Daniel et Nigel

Room Tip: The Pezenas Suite is so much bigger than the other rooms - its worth it, even without the air condit...
