My wife an I duly arrived with the help of our sat nav. Pezenas is a lovely little town - quaint and charming. Villa Juliette did not disappoint. We were there for 6 days. Due to the lack of noise, it was difficult to realise that you are smack bang in the middle of town. Breakfast was taken in the garden every morning and we were blessed with fantastic weather. Our room was lovely - very comfortable bed and the shower was spot on as well. The water in the pool is a bit on the cold side but once you get in it's fine! Serge and Maria were wonderful hosts. Serge produces his own wine and at 7.50 euros a bottle it is a snip - and good as well! Their dog Achillies (a schnauzer) is a real personality. It is also a great base for visiting nearby towns. For the best seafood, avoid Sete and go to Bouzigues. It is nearer on quieter and the choice of restaurants is excellent.

My wife, daughter and I stayed in a suite of two rooms in the hotel which is situated within walking distance (2 minutes) of the town centre. In spite of its central location, the hotel and grounds are very private with garden and swimming pool next to a public park. One of the owners is a vigneron and sells his own wines on the premises as well as arranging tastings.

Breakfasts are good and the rooms tastefully decorated and spacious. On site secure parkin is also a major plus.

I am a tourism development consultant by profession and have nothing but praise for the welcoming atmosphere and quality of service and accommodation at a reasonable price.

We found "Villa Juliette" quite by accident, but we were very pleasantly surprised. Marie and Serge- the hosts - are absolutely charming and extremely helpful with their suggestions on visits, routes, food and especially wine since Serge is a "vigneron". The hotel is small and cozy, with a beautiful garden; a real gem in the outskirts of the old city of Pezenas. Sights, galleries, restaurants, cafes are all within walking distance - a must if you have been all day visiting the surrounding area, like we were. Spacious rooms, comfortable beds, breakfast more than enough and the possibility to taste Serge's wonderful wines! We would gladly go there again and we most definitely recommend it.

We spent 4 nights here with another couple at the end of a week on the canal du midi. It was a lovely relaxing break and the owners Marie and Serge made us feel very welcome. We did not experience any such problems as have been mentioned in earlier reviews. We had a 2 bed suite on the first floor, both bedrooms had king sized beds and a lovely large shared bathroom, all very clean and well furnished. We found the breakfasts more than adequate with a selection of fresh croissants, cereals, jams, juice, cheese and meats each day. The gardens offered a lovely place to unwind after a day sightseeing and we also used the pool when it was really hot. We all agreed that the owners were friendly and very helpful and approachable offering to call and check that different places were open and serving lunches for us before we set out to visit them. Marie and Serge also have vineyards and make their own wine which we sampled and learned about - it was so delicious that we bought a bottle each day which they kindly kept in the fridge for us so that we could endulge oursleves whenever we wished! I can thoroughly recommend the white wine!!
All in all a lovely stay. Pezenas is a wonderful old town with an excellent tourist info centre offering lots of free info. We did the historical tour on our own with the help of an excellent map they provided and saw some sights that we would never have found on our own. Villa Juliette is a little expensive compared to some in the local area but in my opinion it is worth it and the location is perfect (3 mins walk into the town centre)and free and secure parking is offered within the grounds. Would definitely like to return.

Villa Juliette is a fabulous B & B run by the charming Marie, et Serge who is also a viticulteur extraordinaire (try the white - it is absolutely fantastic!) They have managed to achieved that difficult balance of being available whenever needed but never intrusive, and they had lots of useful suggestions for local places to visit and restaurants to try out. Our two-bedroomed suite was clean, spacious, comfortable and tastefully decorated. The substantial breakfast served outside on the terrace always had a personal touch, either in its presentation or in Marie's homemade cooking. Pézanas town centre is a 3-minute walk away and is worth a visit for its countless ateliers and quirky shops, as well as for the historic old town (guided walks available at the tourist office). There is no train station but the buses to neighbouring towns (eg. Montpellier) were excellent. We encountered none of the problems mentioned by other reviewers regarding hot water, flabby salami or lack of smiles, and on the contrary were provided with everything we needed including internet access. We would most certainly go back there again. Thank you Marie et Serge for a wonderful stay in your beautiful town.

We stayed in this very nice B&B for 4 nights and were made very welcome by the proprietor with his choice of Languedoc wine. A lovely house and spacious garden appears before your eyes when you drive in after the automatic gates open. The lawn and good sized, clean swimming pool proved to be a great asset in the hot sunshine. The choice at breakfast and the service was very satisfactory, some items being home made by the owner. The house was situated in a quiet part of the lovely historic town, just 3 minutes walk from the centre where there was a choice of many good restaurants.
Pezenas is in an excellent location for the auto-route, beaches and local city of Montpellier

Knowing nothing about Pezenas but looking for a spot to stay in southern France before meeting friends elsewhere, we found Villa Juliette via an internet search and were very happy with it and this historic town. The well run B&B is a tranquil, beautiful garden spot within walking distance of the town's major attractions and is comfortable and appropriately priced.
