Saturday mornings in the sun on the pavement terrace at this charming café/restaurant are hard to beat. A great welcome from the owners who pride themselves on personal service that makes you feel special. And this time, instead of just our usual coffee, we stayed for lunch, people-watching as the market-traders slowly packed up. My wife had the lasagne and I chose the tartiflette. Both were mouth-watering. We washed the food down with good-value pichets of wine and left four hours later. We spoke to four Swedish adults on the next table who were bowled over by the welcome, the food and the value - like us. I don't think we've ever enjoyed a better lunch. The atmosphere has already made the cafe a favourite haunt for us. The food has added a dimension that we will find hard to resist in the future. Enjoy the experience!
