Respecting environment and searching for high quality; this is our daily guideline. You will be welcom here to visit our castle, its chapel and also our cellar. (on appointment)If you want to buy or taste our wines, the cellar is open from tuesday to saturday 10.00 to 12.30 and from 14.30 to 18.30.

My husband bought a bottle of rose in a shop in Agde yesterday evening we enjoyed it so much we visited the chateau and shop today. Cecile was charming and helpful, we tried the wines and loaded the car. Our choices were Viognier, rose (Grenache, Cinsault and Tempranillo ) and the rich rouge Prestige (Syrah and Grenache). The chateau is peaceful and elegant with a lovely shaded courtyard. Cecile showed us the cellar and outlined the wine making process clearly. Well worth the visit and it's clearly signposted from the Pezenas/ Roujan road.

We spent a few lovely days in the Pezenas area at the end of June and were delighted to come across the Seigneurie de Peyrat wine estate. A most beautiful location with cool shaded tables where one can taste some great wines and try and buy local produce like honey, olives, local cheeses and saucissons etc. Cecile the charming and very knowledgeable hostess was only too
happy to show us around the estate and we tasted some excellent red wines and delicious viogniers as well as a delicious rose of which we bought a case for the remainder of the holiday.

If it is not beach weather Peyrat is an ideal diversion! - boules are provided for the kids in the courtyard while parents address the wines.

Was on holiday last two weeks in May, staying nearby. Walked over to De Peyrat for wine tasting. Met the lovely and very helpful Cecile. This loxation was beutiful, just like a tilm set. I tasted seven wines and purchased three very nice bottles. Cecile was keen to explain the differences in the wines and was not in a rush to get finished. At the end, Cecile allowed me to see the family chapel in the courtyard. I was impressed by the location, the wines and the helpfulness of Cecile. Well worth a visit.

We visited Seigneurie de Peyrat last week while on holiday. We came upon by chance while driving out of Pezenas and thought we would take a look. We were made very welcome by a lady who was more than happy to show us around the delightful chateu and grounds. Her English was perfect and the tour and talk were very interesting and entertaining. She was more than happy to answer any questions we had and showed us everything from grape picker to wine barrel. The wine tasting was a fabulous experience, not rushed and very informative, the wines were delightful, reds, whites and rosé. We we're more than happy to take a few cases away with us. I would definitely recommend a visit to Seigneurie de Peyrat.

Make sure you stop here to sample the beautiful wines. We were staying in nearby Alignan-du-Vent and cycled over through the vineyards. Opening time in the afternoon is from 1400-1800. Cécile, our hostess, was extremely welcoming and spoke perfect English. She let us try a great selection of the wines, giving us a detailed overview of their formulation and preparation. The unoaked chardonnay and Prestige Red were simply excellent. If that wasn't enough Cécile then showed us around the beautiful (and mercifully cool) 4th Century Château. Of particular interest was the chapel, replete with recently-rediscovered frescoes. We also saw the subterranean cellarage and wine making equipment. There was no pressure to buy any wine however they don't ship outside France so we dropped by later with the car to buy a couple of cases. All in all a wonderful surprise and privilege to see behind the scenes of such an active and fascinating business.
