“Best place for stop over on the way South”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 15, 2012

Quietly located just one mile off interstate A31, this is a convenient and affordable place for a stop over. The GPS came in handy when driving from the Interstate exit to the hotel!
We were still able to get a little late bite upon arrival (11pm), croissants at breakfast (self serve) were very good, good selection of tasteful yoghurts, cakes.
Not too impressed with the coffee though.
Parking at the hotel.

Room Tip: We didn't see an elevator. So, when staying on the second floor, you may want to travel 'li...

I did a one night stopover on a long drive north. The hotel's a bit out of the way once you leave the motorway, but TomTom got me there no problems. The room was small and overheated, but clean. WiFi was free (if a bit complicated), and the staff were genuinely friendly. The best thing was the food: I had an excellent mushroom omelette - couldn't have cooked it better myself - with perfect chips and a beautifully simple green salad with an unfussy dressing. Truly impressive.

This is possibly the fifth visit I have made in the past three years, en route from Zeebrugge to the French alps. Always receive a welcoming smile, friendly staff, and the coffee in the bar within the reception is good.
Writing this by use of the free wi fi in the very Comfortable big double bed. Bathroom tiny but has a small bath which after long journey is a soaking relief.
the price we pay by booking in advance is favourable to the area. .
Although not too large, the room is adequate for our journey and sadly last night their restaurant was closed. On our past three visits we have taken the Menu of the day, three course dinner, at €14.20 which we have found excellent in the hotels restaurant always delicious, local food and
great value. Sometimes we have taken the breakfast option which has always been the same as the other Ibis hotels we have stayed in, good and wholesome. Highly recommended, and just off the main motorway.

Room Tip: Lots of luggage ask for ground floor, better aspect ask for room overlooking car park, in sun shine...

We drive the length of France five or six times a year and this hotel has been a regular stopover. However the welcome at reception on this occasion was perfunctory at best. We arrived at 6.30 in the evening to be told the restaurant was fully booked for dinner. At the end of an eight hour drive this was not what we expected to hear. No explanation, no apology, only the suggestion that we walk along the road into town. Thank heaven it wasn't raining! Sadly we shan't be staying here again.

Hotel very close to center of Nuit St George, and provided a clean, simple place to stay for one night. The hotel reasturant was closed, but the suggested reasturant at a nearby hotel was very good.
