“We always enjoy visiting this scenic beach.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 24, 2013

We visit Pissouri every time we visit Cyprus.
This beach is quite special and very scenic.
There is quite a steep slope down to the beach so it might be difficult for anyone with walking difficulties. There are lots of benches dotted along the beach walkway if you just want to sit and admire the view. There are plenty of beach chairs and loungers available to rent. There are several excellent restaurants very close to the beach. The beach is very attractive and is made up of pebbles. It can get very busy here in the high season.

“Water colours nice but sand is dark and too many pebbles”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 24, 2013

Nice greens and blues and sea through but overall look of the beach given that the sand is quite dark (makes it look dirty) and pebbles and stones here and there ... Very average beach overall

“A cracking beach!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 22, 2013

A lovely beach which was very convenient next to our hotel (the Columbia Beach Resort). The beach was clean and well equipped with sunbeds, water sports and clean, turquoise water! The beach was also not too busy.

The beach also had a number of restaurant and cafes next to it which were great and easy to get to.

“The beach”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 17, 2013

We loved it - un-manicured and a bit wild. The eastern end is particularly lovely so long as you are not worried about the occasional (rare) nude sunbather! There are a few restaurants overlooking the bay with fab views. The only thing we did not like was the monstrosity of the Columbus Resort. Pretty well designed so not as ugly as many large hotels but still far too big for this lovely village. Luckily it is not visible from most spots on the beach!

“As yet unspoilt”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 13, 2013

This is the third time we have stayed in Pissouri Beach (Jetty) and although there has been some development over the years, it has not altered the small coastal village feel of the place. Access is good with ample car parking, the locals are friendly and there are some lovely local restaurants. The beach now hosts a couple of water sport outlets, but the majority of the beach (stony in places) is set aside for kids and sun worshipers.
