“An unspoiled bay”
Reviewed February 25, 2013

Pissouri beach is becoming narrower as the sea encroaches compared to our last visit 14 years ago, however it is still unspoiled with a spectacular sea view. Not much sand but very good for collecting sea-smoothed pebbles!

“Scenic, unspoilt”
Reviewed December 28, 2012

This beach is beautiful, with trees lining it and lovely beach tavernas. You can enjoy a walk and a swim. The beach is a little stoney, so use flip-flops to get to the water, but once in, the sea bed is beautifully sandy and generally warm. Don't mis the nearby village with it's very traditional streets and cobbles. It's worth gettingout of the car as it is pedestrianised now.

“A gold sandy beach with lots of tavernas and two hotels”
Reviewed December 20, 2012

Pissouri beach is a very popular, mainly in the Summer, by locals and tourists.

Apart from the gold sandy beach and the water sport facilities, Pissouri beach is famous for its tavernas and the two hotels, belonging to the Columbia Group of Companies.

“Pissouri Bay to Trachonas Plateau Walk (Cape Aspro)”
Reviewed November 15, 2012

Good Clean Beach at Pissouri Bay. We went on the coastal walk to the viewpoint on the Trachonas Plateau further West but better avoided on a Sunday & Wednesday (we did the walk on the Sunday) in winter season as it's hunting season and the walk to the plateau includes crossing a military installation's radar field where, what we now know were hunters out shooting, we were unsure if it was the military on an operation and it was slightly intimidating, although, no harm come to us. Spectacular view at the end of the walk & you can decend around 200 meters to go for a swim on this totally unspoilt beach although you have ascend back up & return the way you came. a lot of precipitous scrambling involved at some parts, so more for the experienced walkers. still give it 4/5 for the viewpoints of the sea, etc..
