“Lovely Villa”
Reviewed May 9, 2015 for a stay in May 2015

This a lovely 3 bedded villa in Pissouri with a private pool and a rooftop sun terrace.

It has everything needed for a self catering holiday with lots of space, plenty of utensils and a large barbecue area.

there is plenty of pool furniture and one can dine al fresco

All in all great for a relaxing holiday

“Amazing”
Reviewed October 4, 2013 for a stay in September 2013

Have now stayed at this villa several times and never found any problems with it. It is clean, tidy and very peaceful which makes it ideal for a get away from it all holiday. It is located in a very quiet area of the village with few neighbouring properties at this time.

The village is very nice as is the bay area and have always found the local Cypriots very friendly and helpful.

Tony provides any information requested and gives clear instructions on how to get to the villa. It is ideal for for everyone as all the rooms are on the ground floor and there are no steps to obtain access to the property.

“Lovely villa, charming village, wonderful country!”
Reviewed August 28, 2013 for a stay in August 2013

Myself, my partner and our two children (5 & 13) stayed here for two weeks in August 2013. I don't usually write reviews, but but felt the need to share.....

We were met at the airport and driven to the property - with a quick tour of the surrounding area on the way, which was very helpful. Keys were handed over on arrival and we were left to get on with things, but were given a welcome pack (bread, water, milk etc.) along with contact details should we have any problems.

The villa itself is exactly as described (which was a relief) - a decent, clean pool, three good-size bedrooms, kitchen/ living room, roof terrace, air-con throughout (not on any sort of timer either). Each room also had a ceiling fan, which we found to be better (quieter) than the air-con at night. The wi-fi is decent most of the time, but the connection does drop from time to time.

We had a car, which I would say is a must, as the villa is about 1 mile outside of Pissouri village, around 2 miles to the nearest reasonably-priced supermarket (Papantonious) and around 4-5 miles from the beach at Pissouri Bay. All would be down-hill on the way there, but up-hill on the way back - not something that we would have liked to do in the August heat! Having said that, taxis are readily available and cost aroun 7-10 Euros depending on the driver and time of day.

Pissouri village itself is charming - there are a good number of restaurants, most of which are reasonably priced, along with a number of bars, take-aways and a few smaller shops. It didn't feel too "touristy", which we liked, but there was still enough going on to keep us happy for a couple of weeks.

The beach at the bay is good too, and there are some more restaurants here if you fancy a change from the village. The beach is mostly sand, with some stones closer to the water. It was fairly quiet, even in August, which meant that we could easily get a space. They also have a diving club there along with the usual water-sports.

A few things worth noting:
Some of the restaurants/ bars didn't accept credit cards (although most did) - there is a cash-point in the village though.
They use the same 3-pin plugs as in the UK.
You can't flush toilet paper (poor plumbing I guess) - instead it need to be placed in a bin and disposed of with the rest of the rubbish.

All in all, a great holiday - we would definitely go back.

“Perfect for a peaceful stay”

We have been holidaying in Pissouri Cyprus for 13 years and this is the best villa we have stayed in by far. Villa Katrina is well maintained and fully stocked to cater for a large group or small family. Situated on a small complex at the top of the village Villa Katrina has stunning views of the bay and surrounding areas. The pool area is very secluded with plenty of shade which is a must in the height of summer but due to the position of the villa there is usually a lovely cooling breeze. The owner, Tony, is one of the nicest people I have ever dealt with and is always on hand to make sure you have the best possible holiday. I cannot recommend this villa enough, we have been back twice and are re booking for 2014.
