“Probably the most picturesque courtyard in Cyprus-their words.”

Who would doubt their claim? So long as you're not unfortunate enough to be their at the same time as a loud group of ex-pats, it's a great place to eat and relax at. Who said yellow cordouroys were extinct-not in Pissouri!

“Expensive, but no better than other restaurants.”
Reviewed November 6, 2012

We had heard rave reviews about this place in the past and have eaten here some years ago. However this vist was a little disapointing. The prices seemed somewhat higher than just about anywhere else and the food not really that much better.
The restaurant does have lovely atmosphere being mainly out in the open and tables no too close together.
The food and service were good, But we would not rush back when there are so many other restaurants in the area offering better value for money with equally good food.

“Not what it used to be”
Reviewed November 5, 2012

When we first discovered Pissouri (many years ago), this was the best place to eat. Sadly, it no longer deserves this reputation.

The food is largely the standard Pissouri Square menu, and is no better than the other tavernas in the square, but considerably more expensive. The service is not outstanding either.

It is a shame that a restaurant in such an attractive location is not aking the effort to provide a better eating experence.

“lovely”
Reviewed November 5, 2012

we went to this restaurant after walking the length of the road. what sold it for us was the recommendation of a couple who had been holidaying in pissouri for years.
we enjoyed a meat mezes, there was plenty of food we didnt have room for desert but the plate of freshly picked grapes from the overhead vines was enjoyed by all.

“A touch of Cyprus”
Reviewed November 3, 2012

Over several years we had heard about the good reputation of this restaurant so tried it for ourselves this year.
This restaurant is tucked away in the village of Pissouri. The atmosphere was very traditional; grapevines growing overhead although the choice of music wasn't always what one would expect from this type of traditional venue.
The food was of a good standard and we would definately go back again.
