“EXCELLENT Ski!!!”
Reviewed November 5, 2012

The Zillertal Arena is THE place to go alone, with your girlfriend, wife, friends or children. It has it all!Slopes for children and beginners, red ones, black ones,up to over 2.000 m.Always running, never waited in que more than the usual (1-5 min).Good amenities all over the Arena, wonderful eating places, safe, many events.Price average on Austrian scale(20-30 euro/day,less if with skipass for 1 week and booked in advance). One thing:not the perfect place for snowboarders, since most slopes are designed for ski,but I've seen many with the board as well.

“Travel Facilities in the Ziller Valley”
Reviewed August 15, 2012

I enjoyed the whole of the Ziller Valley, it was each to travel either by the train which runs along the Valley or to make connections to other places such as Innsbruck and Wattens, the home of Swarovski Crystals, or by bus. The is also a connection to travel by steam train to Lake Achensee and have a boat trip on the Lake. Also available from the nearby Tourist Office is an Active Card for use on the facilities in the Valley.

“Far and away the best resort in the ziller valley”
Reviewed April 16, 2012

Having been to Mayrhofen last year and loving it we decided to go back this year. We went when snowbombing was on and the penken was mobbed so we decided to tour the ziller valley.
So glad we did as we found this gem of a resort, zero lift ques and quiet pistes. We were lucky to get a powder day and the off piste easily accessible and not too scary ideal for people just getting in to off piste.

I would love to go back.
